"We contacted two companies that repair concrete. The only thing they wanted to do was tear out the entire porch and replace the concrete. One told us we needed to contact some type of handyman to brace up the roof because they do not do that. I contacted Handyman Connection who sent out Steve. He suggested patching the bad spot then covering the entire porch with an epoxy coating. He would use a color that complemented the rest of the house. He used Olympic Rescue It. <br /> He explained how the Handyman Connection works. They only provide labor  and we were responsible for materials. He would go to Lowes to pick up the proper stuff. They then called us for a credit card number.  <br /> What he suggested was exactly what I thought should be able to be done. After talking to Steve for over an hour I could tell he knew what he was doing. He carved the blue whale at the zoo which he could not figure out  why they wanted it since they do not have any whales.  <br /> He coated the entire porch to below the soil line and ran a thick bead of sealant around where there porch connected to the house. <br /> The color really looked good. <br /> Steve is in high demand so you may need to wait a few weeks for him to get to you. <br />"

Unfortunately some wood trim was damaged during the wallpaper removal but was repiared at no charge once it was pointed out the contractor. the job was originally estimated to take four days. It ended up taking eight. Most areas were cleaned up pretty well. However, many of the door hardware required detail scraping and cleaning as well as much of the vinyl tiled basement floor."
