"Sal did a good job cleaning the dirt off the driveway and pool area pavers.  Thought his price was a little high.  The issue we have is that he got so much dirt in our pool that I have been cleaning the pool for the last three days and the water is still not clear. I never had this problem with other Angie's list vendors that I have used in the past and when I did the job myself.
When I mentioned this to Sal, he stated "that's how it is, that's collateral damage."  I wasn't pleased with this response.

"Excellent!! In my newly purchased home, I wanted the color in the master bedroom changed. The existing paint job was excellent - I just wanted a different color (from blue to gray). When I showed Matt my choices he made a suggestion (a warmer gray as opposed to a cooler gray for the bedroom). I am so glad I followed his advice. Matt arrived on time with all tools and materials. "With the Heavy rain on outback deck/ porch it was being undermined and flooded . Element came and gave suggestions for grading and a water drainage ditch to pull the water away from the house and porch. They were quick and very clean. I really enjoyed talking to the crew all of them were kind and answered my concerns."

When I returned home to see the job they had completed, they had raked up all the leaves from the tree they cut down and all the sawdust and left my yard looking better than they found it. "It went amazingly well.  Bill and Scott are very friendly, personable and talented.  They patched and sanded walls and ceilings, were very professional and I recommend them highly.  After the AL deal, I immediately asked them back to do more work.

There was a significant amount of splattering left on the floor, sink and fixtures in the bathroom.  When I called to have them return to clean up what they claimed to have cleaned the first time when pointed out, they were well over 90 mins late, and when they arrived there as a significant attitude towards us. They left again with paint on the floor, tile around the shower where they painted and numerous other spots.

"We met Mr. Haber at a local home show.  We had been searching in vain for someone to repair or install a new door. (He said he would only repair a door that he had installed himself.) He returned our call promptly, and said he could send a quote without measuring since the size is pretty standard.  He also told us about a used door that we might want., that had been in a display.  He sent us a picture of the door and we decided to take it.  It is a gorgeous Pella door with a screen, and it was half priced.
The job was scheduled, and two professional young men arrived fairly early on the date set. Our old door was very well attached, and it took a lot of patience and hard work to remove it.  They worked steadily, on a pretty hot day with no shade nearby, and were very polite and friendly.  When they finished the job, they cleaned the area well, leaving everything neat. 
I would use this remodeling service again, in fact I plan to in the near future.
