"We bought a gazebo that needed to be put together We had Cory come over to help and I have to say thank the Lord we did! I would have struggled for weeks without his help and guidance. Cory laid tile on the area we wanted the gazebo to go. Did excellent work there too. He anchored the gazebo with bolts and it all looks beautiful We enjoy it every day! Great work and craftsmanship. Cory was a huge benefit and is a great guy as well We will be using him again and again!"

"I wish I could leave ZERO Stars. I have never experienced such unprofessional, incompetent work and broken promises to "make it right," stated in front of an ROC inspector no less. I am still waiting after three weeks to hear anything from them about that! The issue started when 1st American Home Warranty assigned Professors of Plumbing (now known as Thomas Home Services) to take a look at an issue I was having with my AC unit. Once there, they determined the issue was really plumbing, not the unit itself. APS had sent me two Google Nest Thermostats which I had been waiting to install, but I was afraid my system was too old, so while he was there, I asked the tech, "Will this work with my system?" He took a look and said yes, it would work. I then asked if he could install it and again he said yes, although in the process, he seemed unclear and called to consult with someone several times before completing the job. This was in November. Great weather, so I'm not using heat or cooling until December when I try to turn on the heat. NOTHING. I call Thomas Home Services, but they claim they only warranty their work for 30 days, and I was literally a day past. So I called 1st American and they send out another group who tell me the thermostat has been installed wrong and may have damaged the system, but that the ones who installed it have to do the repair work. Great. Thomas Home Services has actually answered the phone exactly twice (and this is over the course of multiple encounters with them)--after me calling and leaving messages daily, sometimes more than once a day. They NEVER RETURNED A SINGLE MESSAGE I LEFT! So they came out and got the heater working. Then the hot weather came and when I tried to switch to AC--still heating! More unanswered phone calls, a complaint to the ROC and the conversation where the ROC inspector said that my system was too old to handle to Nest Thermostat. If THS had told me this in the first place, I would have avoided all of this and probably gotten a new AC through my home warranty! But because of their poor workmanship and refusal to take responsibility for that, I am out $6k. I still can't over the fact that the THS rep stood there in front of me and the ROC inspector and told me he would call me "tomorrow or Monday" to "make things right" no matter what the ROC ruled. ROC found an out for them because several other companies had looked at the thermostats, so held them not responsible, even though no one else did any work on them. Save your time and don't bother with complaining to them! But avoid this group at all costs! They failed to show up when the said they would, and when their worker didn't get to my house because another job took too long, instead of putting me on for the next day, I was put at the end of the line and scheduled for the next week! And I'm without heat in the coldest time of year! No apologies, just broken promises."
