Work included first planting new grass and fertilizing, followed by regular mowing, trimming of trees and bushes, adjusting the irrigation system, removing weeds and general upkeep. "We used Omar to mow our lawns for over 2 years. He is a good man and the work he and his crews do is top quality. That said over the two years we had numerous issues with him and his team. One of his guys took out a plastic bag and picked fruit right off of one of our trees that he proceeded to take home with him. I use the fruit for corporate gifts for my clients and didn't not give the man or expect the man to take the fruit. Omar claimed the man told him I told him he could have the fruit which was not true. We have two dogs and the biggest thing I stressed to Omar from the first day was closing the gate to the backyard when his crews were finished. On two occasions the back gate was left open and our dogs got loose in the neighborhood. Thankfully we were able to catch them. Omar apologized but also said his guys told him they closed the gate before they left. Which I know to be false as they were the only people to use the gate the day it was left open. The last issue was scheduling. Over the last few months scheduling with Omar had become a real challenge. The most recent time it took him nearly 2 weeks to come out to the house and when he did he charged more money because the lawn had grown so long. Over the last year Omar would send me text messages saying he was planning on coming out on such and such day and he wouldn't show up saying he got busy with other jobs. The lawns look great when they are done and Omar is a nice/good guy, but the other issues have made us decide to look for another lawn service."

"<br>I called Hayward Tree and requested an estimate.  I believe it was Amanda that came out to look at the tree and gave me the quote.  I immediately indicated I would like to have them do the job and she told me someone would call the next day to put me on the schedule.  I received that call the next day & was put on the schedule within a few days.  On the day of the service, one of the workers called to let me know he was about 10 minutes away... "Moved to Phoenix about 3-4 years ago and wasn't thrilled with the 1st lawnscaping experience. Was referred to AZ Lawnscaping by one of the highly rated arborists in the area and have been very happy. The owner, Joe, is quite responsive, offers a fair price for services, wants to make sure his customers are happy with their service, and immediately talks to his crew when needed. It's nice to have a reasonably priced proficient service with no language barriers. And I hear this company will be expanding to hardscaping in the near future and given the A+ customer service thus far can't help but assume this company will provide A+ hardscaping service as well."

"Alex is great!  We hired him last fall after interviewing several others.  While he was not the cheapest, we felt he offered the best value and the complete service we were looking for.  Our previous lawn service was provided by a single person who could not keep up with all the amount of work needed to keep our property looking its best.  Some of the other people we interviewed indicated their people would spent about half an hour at our property and "trimming" would be done with an electric hedge trimmer.  We have many rose bushes and everyone else said they did not do roses as their crew weren't  trained to care for roses.  Alex told us he would have a three man crew at our home for 1 to 1 1/2 hours each visit and they would do whatever we wanted during that time period--even if it was changing light bulbs!   <br /> Alex checks our property each visit to make sure all the emitters are working and that each plant/tree is receiving the proper amount of water.  He also checks for bugs that might be attacking our plants and sprays accordingly.  Weeds are kept under control.  He recommends staking of trees/plants if necessary, is happy to answer any questions we have, and makes recommendations if we are considering adding something to our landscape.   <br /> Last fall he thatched our summer lawn, filled in the low spots in the lawn and reseeded with winter rye.  Each ensuing visit he made sure the seed was sprouting evenly and that the new lawn was thriving.   <br /> If I buy new plants, he willingly plants them at no charge.  In fact, the only "extra" charge was to rent the thatcher and that was shared among his clients.  He does not charge for carting away grass or trimmings.  He does not charge to replace emitters.  Other lawn services told us they would charge for all of those things. <br /> Alex is very responsive, reliable, pleasant, and easy to work with.  We are so happy we found him! <br />"
