"Beginning with water damaged drywall, and the need to reroute plumbing, wiring, and ducts. Marty the owner of Northstarr Builders personally presented a design to mitigate mildew and venting problems, doubled electrical accessibility and lighting, and replaced drop ceilings with dry wall. The bathroom was built on a slab that required going below the concrete to add 2 new drains while plugging 2 others. The previous owner had covered the source of the water damage by blocking with dry wall. Marty reintroduced the space as a toilet alcove, which was only one his monumental additions another was the totally awesome shower, and the nothing but “far out” sink alcove. Special provisions to accommodate my previously purchased mosaic glass and stainless steel tiles for the walls were undertaken to match several tile thicknesses that were necessary for the shower walls and base, and his finishing touches was the accent stripe that included the mosaic. It simply looks fabulous. The entire room has 3 coats of paint and is nothing short of a "cream-puff". The job was finished with hanging an assortment of glass shelves, space saver cabinet over the toilet, built-in toilet paper dispenser and shampoo shelf in the shower. This job deserves 5's across the board. It’s more than a bathroom it’s a “Zen Den”. He's starting our upstairs bathroom next, and will continue with 3 more after that for a total of 5 projects in all. Of course I would recommend him to anybody that wants the perfect mix of the latest in hi-tech quality with elegance and beauty, but honestly I'd rather keep it my best kept secret."

"The big deal came at a time when a lot of things were needing immediate attention in my house, so the timing could not be better.  It was a little hard to get connected with the salesperson, but after a couple of days of missing each others calls, we were able to make arrangements for the work to be done.  On that particular day, we had a major thunderstorm and we rescheduled for another day.  The contractor arrived right on time and got right to work.  He took pictures of the areas of the roof he sealed and the chimney which needed to be repaired.  He offered to repair the chimney that day and the price was very reasonable.  He went to the store to get the supplies needed and returned and completed the job quickly.  He cleaning up all of his work and the gutters.  He was very nice and professional and i feel confident that my roof will not be leaking any more this summer or the next 5 years."
