"Finally an honest Solar company!! I went through several companies trying to get quotes for one of my properties, either they were ridiculously expensive or they didn't return my calls. A friend of mine referred me to Mega Sun and I have to say I am very pleased. "They meticulously sanded the deck, which was a lot of work.  This was done with a hand-held rotary sander-- we were really impressed.  They stained the deck two times to begin with.  Likely due to sun bleaching, there were some areas on the deck that were lighter than the rest.  I asked Dave to add some stain to those areas, and he was happy to do that.  In the end, they put much more stain on our deck than would normally go on a deck for staining, but our deck needed extra because it was in such bad shape.  For the patio cover, they painted the beams at least 2 times with the blue paint that they purchased and matched to our house trim.  They purchased the lattice, stained it, cut it, and attached it to the beams.  Everything looked beautiful!  We were very happy that we had decided to go with Dave's suggestion of painting the cross beams (and support beams) of the patio cover with blue paint-- it ended up looked very nice!  Like Dave had suggested, it really did make the patio tie-in with the color scheme of the house.  There was one very minor thing that I asked Dave to correct when I made the final payment (the lattice needed re-tacking in a couple places), and they came back later to fix that.  Overall, I was very happy with their work, and very impressed with their professionalism. They did have some scheduling challenges and as a result the work took longer than expected (approx. two weeks instead of one week), but this was not a big inconvenience for us."

"I bought the Big Deal which was just for a single top coat to reseal the deck surface.  However, my deck was in a little bit worse shape than the deal allowed.  However, Ryan was awesome and added in sanding and then did the reseal for no additional charge.  The surface is not perfect but that is due to the rough pre-condition it was in and not his fault.  Shortly after the reseal the deck drains started leaking in to the garage below.  Ryan and crew came out again to fix the drain at no additional cost.  Again, this was not in the deal I bought but they provide such great customer service.  I would definitely use them again and will recommend them to friends and neighbors!

"Sitting on a slope, the 1960's cabin had a slight tilt to the left. Some of the piers in the pier-and-beam foundation looked questionable, and the 4x13 porch had rotted out. Was it worth even putting in a new one? It was. When Justin and Jarrad came out to put in a bid, they exclaimed at the cabinâ  s history, the materials it had been built with and its redwood patina. â  It was like the joists had been put in just yesterday!â  they said. It was definitely worth repairing, and they talked animatedly about how the foundation could be stabilized. They offered ideas about a deck and pulled up pictures on their cellphones to illustrate what they were talking about. They were genuinely enthusiastic about bringing new life to this one-room cabin. They got the job, and its completion has exceeded expectation. Using high-end materials, theyâ  ve solidified the foundation and built a sturdy and well-crafted deck that will last the next thirty-five years. Dustin and Jarrad are a skilled and visionary team, and I will rely on their talents for future projects."
