They had excellent placement of our sprinkler heads (some of the types along our boardwalk that I always wished I had had) for great coverage. They also hooked us up with a water-saving wifi Hunter system to help decrease over/mis-watering during rainy/wet weather. The team helped me set up my app and guided me through the process to enable me to navigate the system before they left my house that day! John also helped connect our contractor with a company that places sod, and the results were amazing! When we had a slight miscommunication of how we wanted sod laid around a particular tree, John was on top of it - he connected with the other company right away and they corrected it before the day was through! All in all, John and his team exceeded my expectations and do excellent work! I would recommend them to anyone in need of sprinkler system installation or maintenance!!!"

"I started by putting out requests for bids with a number of area landscapers. In spite of being one of the later requests I put out, they were actually the first to respond and he was able to make it out to look over the project the next day. His price was better than what other contractors were offering as well and he was very accommodating as he could tell I was trying to keep my costs down. <br /> Due to the weather the project faced a few delays, but as soon as it dried out enough they went right to work. Took only a few days before the shed and driveway were gone and the yard went from a cratered mess to a nice graded expanse. Knowing that I was trying to trim costs he was able to arrange for someone to take the shed to avoid the need (and costs) of a dumpster. Since I had planned to seed it myself to save on costs as well he provided me with information on what seeds to buy for the soil type and fertilizer types. <br /> Working with Lawn by the Yard was a great experience and I certainly would recommend their services if someone I knew were looking. <br />"

"<p>I am REALLY pleased with these people!  We started toward the middle of the year last year and saw such improvement in our lawn that when it came to signing up for this year it was a 'no brainer' for us.  Our house, lawn and gardens cover about an acre.  In the past I had been doing weed control and fertilization my self ... I have degrees in plant science and agricultural engineering and have ALL the equipment.  Let's face it, these people do a better job than I could do, with better materials than I have access to and they do it in a timely and systematic manner.  Our lawn has NEVER looked better, the weeds are under control at last (even the ground ivy, aka creeping Charlie, and the wild violets) and we have moved from having grass to having TURF.  It's fabulous!  And I know it's just going to keep getting better!</p> <p>We get advance notice via email prior to a visit so I can have the yard clear and be ready for them.  Jeremy came last time and paid me the compliment of saying the lawn looked very healthy and I was mowing it properly.  It would not be where it is if not for Lawn Green's efforts.</p> <p>I highly recommend Lawn Green and I know you could do a lot worse and you DON'T want that ....
