"I hired Craftsman Home Improvement to re-roof my two and a half story century old home. The project involved tear-off, new decking, and shingling with drip edge and flashing. It also included repair / rebuild of an section of unsightly roof line. This is the fourth roofing job since we bought the house in 1975. Previous jobs ranged from immediate total disasters to years of nagging dissatisfaction. This time I decided to start with the company with the best reviews rather than the cheapest. Jim came out to do the estimate and couldn't have been better to communicate with and work with. When I pointed out the troublesome roof line, he understood right away, and described just what they would do to correct it. It was exactly what I would have done if I had the skill and manpower. Having planned numerous maintenance and remodeling project over the years, and raising my my standards with each, I trust my opinion of how things should be done even if I don't have the resources to do it myself. I trusted Jim's opinion and when the estimate came in well below what I had budgeted I didn't look any further, The roofing job was done in one day and looks beautiful and sound.The crew was friendly and respectful of my property.
