"The first salesman we had was flaky, but he left Allied Iron. Everyone else has been very knowledgable and professional. I like the fact that you can design the door or gate the way you want, not simply select from a fixed list of models. We were able to see how everything, including the door handle is custom built. I like the fact that we were able to see our door and gate before powder coating. We requested a minor change, which they handled no problem. Installation was quick. The product is not cheap, but considering it is a custom product with high quality, it is worth it."

"It went great! We found Fisher Precious Metals on Angie's List, and after googling them, we found they had very positive reviews across the web. Although it was a 45 minute drive from our home, we felt it might be worth it, and it was. We made an appointment with John via email, arrived at 11:00, and spent just over an hour in his office. He evaluated the sterling silver set we had to sell and gave us what we felt was a very fair price. He'd given us an estimate on the value of the gold coins via email, and although the price of gold had fluctuated since he'd provided the quote, the final price was very, very close to the initial quote. We were happy to learn that they will also buy jewelry, as I have a few pieces I haven't worn in a very long time. We were very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely return to their company when we have gold or silver to sell, and we're happy to recommend them to our friends. One thing to keep in mind is that sterling silver sets are basically worth the price of the silver itself. We knew that going in, so we were not disappointed and, in fact, the price we received was a little higher than we'd expected."

"WARNING!!! BUYER BEWARE!! Know all of the RISKS in doing business with Steel Advantage/Eco Advantage Sun and Security Solutions LLC and its owner, Anthony Gambino. • The owner is very DISHONEST. Over the period of 7 months, the owner told a series of pathetic lies in failed attempts to not refund our deposit. In short, the owner/sales person told us that we could use our superior existing locks and handles on the screen doors we selected. They delivered doors which could not accommodate our hardware. The owner/sales rep did not have the professional courtesy to phone us or email us after we left him several messages regarding “his mistake”. I finally received an email response from him several months later after requesting a refund of our deposit. In an attempt to trick us into accepting the doors he made, he claimed that if we used our hardware on his doors, the door handles and locks (and door crossbars) had to be pool code height (he sent a photo of an unsightly door design). It is hard to believe that the owner of the company could be so incompetent as to make a mistake like this on our order. Based on his interactions with us, and based on the way he has poorly treated so many past customers, I can only conclude that his business was very slow at the time because of COVID (April 2020) and he lied to get the business knowing that we would have a very hard time trying to obtain a refund on our deposit. The owner refused all of our many requests to refund our deposit and did not offer any compromise. In fact, he dared me to sue him. So that is what I did. Consequently, based on all of our documented evidence, we won a small claims judgement against the owner/company and the OWNER STILL REFUSED TO REFUND OUR DEPOSIT!! We then hired an attorney and made a claim against his company’s surety bond. ONCE AGAIN, THE OWNER MADE UP ANOTHER LIE! He told the bond company that he had already refunded our deposit and showed them a back-dated phony check that he never mailed to us. In the end, the owner was forced to refund our deposit and pay for all of our court and legal costs. • READ ALL OF THE MANY NEGATIVE PAST REVIEWS on this Company and Owner. Many past Steel Advantage customers have had had similar experiences with this company and owner: Misrepresentation of products, very poor internal and external/customer communication, no customer service/follow-up, not owning up to, nor rectifying their own mistakes, owner is dishonest, unprofessional and passive/aggressive. This is one reason why the owner treats his customers so poorly after a sale. He knows that most people will not go through the legal hassle and expense of trying to obtain a refund on their deposit. In short, if this company and owner make a mistake, it is on you! As another past unhappy customer so rightly stated in their review, the true character of a company/owner is not revealed when everything goes right, rather, it is revealed with how the company/owner treats its customers when problems arise and mistakes are made. Integrity is choosing your actions based on values rather than personal gain. This owner has zero integrity because he has repeatedly demonstrated to so many past customers that lying and omission are part of his character. I expect the owner will tell more lies in his response to this honest review."

"Ok, update from the last review I left. I have now had 2 gate companies come out and look at our faulty gates from First Impression. The gates installed had "bullet" hinges. Both companies said they had never been greased upon installation. I was never shown how to oil these because they never did it! How am I to know if they don't show me. So, no grease = seized hinges because they didn't grease them in the first place. I have been oiling all the other parts I saw that should be oiled. The pictures below show that they were not greased. The paint covering the space where they are supposed to be greased. The paint has to be broken, and there is a small silver ball under the paint. When you grease them properly, the paint is punctured, and a silver ball is visible. Last pictures show the hinges that had NEVER been greased, not even upon installation. The paint has not been punctured, which should reveal a small silver ball, where they should have been greased. The first 2 pictures show after the paint has been punctured to reveal the silver ball, where the grease should be placed. They are saying this is my fault because I never read a manual! They want to charge me $990 to repair a gate because it has seized hinges due to them never being greased properly due to poor installation! None of my gates were oiled during installation. Thus, never has been oiled! This is my fault?"

"I purchased a new AC from Wolff Mechanical three months ago. Since the install there have been nine call backs to my home to repair issues. Wolff Mechanical as a company has been extremely helpful with coming back to correct each and every issue. My disappointment is I purchased an $11k unit and I feel I have a lemon. I believe as a company they should have done more to compensate me after nine call backs in a three month time frame. The issues between poor install and mechanical issues with the actual unit have been non stop. I would never recommend the company due to my personal experience."

"DCS Pool Barriers replaced the metal fence around our pool about 8 years ago with galvanized fencing for which they gave a 20 year warranty against rust. They did a nice job on the fence, completely installing it in one day and left no mess behind, so I was pleased with the original installation. However, I was even more impressed with the way they honored their warranty. One of the posts rusted out even though galvanized. I contacted them to request that they provide a now pole which I figured I would just install myself, but they insisted that they replace the post themselves. Several days later a crew arrived and replaced the pole. No questions asked, at no charge. It was very refreshing to find a company which enthusiastically stands by its work and is happy to go beyond its customer's requests."
