"October is not a good month to need a new roof in Wenatchee. Contractors are extremely busy trying to get as much work done as they can before the weather turns. When I needed help after a big windstorm, Matt Voorhies from Icon Roofing drove all the way over from Spokane within a few days of my call. He gave me a good idea of what needed to be done to not only repair the damage but to bring the roof up to the codes that had changed since the house was built. Roofs are expensive. Insurance companies don’t like parting with money. The adjuster didn’t do much for me. I told Matt what the adjuster had said. Matt told me to hang on and let him talk with the guy again. The end result was my insurance kicking in over a grand more than they had initially wanted to give me. The crew got to work within a couple weeks. It took two-and-a-half days to replace the roof, and the guys worked the last few hours in falling snow. Given the weather, I was actually a bit surprised that they managed to clean everything up as well as they did. The new roof looks great! I feel a whole lot better about the upcoming winter. I would definitely do business with Icon and Matt again!"

"Omar Garcia & his crew did an amazing job of re-roofing our house! From the initial Bid process to final finish. They did exactly what was discussed. Communication was great & our roof looks excellent & very quality work. The job was started on time and crew worked tirelessly 12-14 hours per day to get it done fast & efficient. Not only does our roof look excellent but the crew was very respectful of the property…our belongings and protecting the existing landscaping around the perimeter of the house (which is a lot). They kept their work supplies orderly and kept the property cleaned up through the course of the entire job and at job completion did a resweep to make sure nails and other items were not left. "Took a a couple of days longer than quoted, but it's a huge roof and the workers had to work in freezing, literally---freezing, weather. They cleaned up quite will and were careful to protect plants and landscaping. They accidentally ripped a screen, but took care of it without any problem. Joe Gipson, the estimator, was especially responsive and helpful. He stayed with the project from the estimate through completion and even walked the property and checked the completed project personally to make sure it was to my satisifaction. This company was recommended originally by a realtor. I wasn't even referred by Angie's List. But when a Company does a great job, even without having to worry about what might be stated on Angie's List, they deserve a good review. This job was done on my personal residence, but I have several rental properties in the area, which will likely need roof work at some point in the future. Perrenoud Roofing will be the first name I think of when it comes to anything related to any roof in the future. This is definitely a first-class roofing company. "Because there was so much damage throughout the region from the windstorm, especially due to falling trees, I had an extremely difficult time trying to get any roofing company to come take a look and give me an estimate for repairs on this rental property. Everyone was swamped for months. And priority was given to roofs that needed complete replacing, vs. partial repairs. Finally, Jimmy's Roofing agreed to come take a look. Unbeknownst to me, a contractor friend who had heard me talking about my frustration, had decided to help out, and had come and done part of the repairs just before Charles, a Jimmy's Roofing employee, come by to provide an estimate. I'd imagine Charles might have been unhappy to take the time to come by only to find most of the work done. But instead, he called me not only to let me know, but to pass on some information about part of the work that still needed to be done (although most was complete, some shingles still needed to be replaced and some dented edges of the roof also hadn't been fixed). This was very minor, not something Jimmy's would have expected to get involved in -- but Charles was still kind enough to take the time to let me know that he had come by, and noticed these repairs still incomplete --and thought I might want to know. I appreciated this extra effort so much! If ever I need another roof repair or a replacement in the future, I will definitely contact Jimmy's first because Charles made such a good impression on me!"

"Stacy Carlon (Core Construction) has been to our home several times over the past two years.  He has always been precisely on time, is polite and respectful, and he has succeeded in doing many projects around our home.  These projects include fixing doors that wouldn't close properly, fixing my chest of drawers, assembling an intricate dollhouse for our granddaughter, fixing kitchen cabinets, re-attaching our mail box, repairing a small European carousel, and repairing a broken garage door.  In fact, we haven't given him a challenge that he hasn't met.  His prices are fair and his work is excellent.  We will hire him in the future for sure."

"<p>We were getting ready for a complete new bathroom to be put in our basement, and we knew that we would now need to have a egress window put in. We called Curt again for the job. He came out in August and we showed him the bathroom project that we were going to have done. We showed him which window would now need to become egressed. He also told us that once we had the new window that we would should have a new gutter put on the back of the house. This was so the water would not run off the roof and now into our new window well. We had never even thought of that but yes we did need to have a gutter.</p> <p>While we were working out the details of our bathroom design we signed the contract with Greater American and got put on the schedule. The whole job, egress window and new gutter took maybe 3 days! The guys came and took measurements for the gutter and before you knew it there was a new gutter being made right there in the from of my home. They got it completely up and it looks and works fantastic!! </p> <p>Then two guys hand dug out the ground for the new window. They put tarps down and put all the dirt on top. We have a large garden area so I told the guys to dump any other dirt they wanted into the garden area. Some of the rocks were huge too! By the end of the day they had all the area dug out. They did have to cut out some of our sprinkler system pipes but were very careful to cover up the ends of the pipes so we could reconnect new pipes in the spring. The next day a couple more guys came and they cut out the old window and now opened up the foundation to put the new window in. They set up the new window and it went in the first time. They made the cut for the new window perfect!!! Got the new window in and then put cedar wood all around the outside of the window. Then came the fun part of refilling the window area with the dirt. They took several pieces of the cement foundation that they had cut out and put those pieces in the bottom of the window well area. This was good for drainage and just to use them. They then back filled the hole and the job was complete.  All of this in 3 days!</p> <p>We have hired Greater American now for 3 different jobs. They have replaced completely a new roof for us and now a new gutter and a beautiful egress window. I am told that the previous owner had Greater American put all new windows in our home and new siding. One of the windows in the kitchen had "failed" and because it was under warranty we got a new window at no cost! The window had failed before we bought the house. Now how's that for a company that does fantastic work, but also stands behind their product! If you need new gutters, egress window, siding or a new roof I would call Greater American Construction they will do ONLY Quality work. We will call them for any other work we made need them to do.</p>"
