"I did not set a specific deadline so that I would get an excellent job.

This was the second job that Steve had done with cement board siding.  (The first was some trim on a new bank branch.)  The critical skill on the project was the installers who were both experienced, careful carpenters.

The only delays were getting the prepainted cement board from James Hardie.  They were quite late on their estimated delivery times and the project had to be stopped several times. 

I do recommend a draining housewrap like the Green Guard since it is almost impossible to keep all water outside the siding.

I picked Steve because he was easy to work with an I was very pleased with the work.

"Joel came when he said he would. He was pleasant and professional, and seemed knowledgale. He presented some options for our fence with different pros and cons. He set a date to come back to build the fence. We had to wait a bit, since he had other jobs, but he was open about this. In the end there was  a bit of a delay, but we rescheduled with out a problem and he was very open about this as well. In the end the fence is beautiful and delinates our property in a nice way. 
I plan to call Joel again to help with some other landscaping issues.

Jamey was upfront about what needed to be done.  He made suggestions and listened to what we wanted him to do. He was punctual and communicated when he would arrive and contacted us if there was a change. He is friendly, flexible and cleans up the work area. He may charge a little more that some but you get what you pay for as the quality of work is excellent.  He makes sure that the work is complete and guarantees his work.
