Friday came and I still hadn?t heard from him, so I finally called him Friday afternoon. I understand these things happen, however, he could have called me earlier in the week to let me know he wouldn?t be able to make it, so I could find someone else. I ended up having to hire someone and pay extra because he had to come out on a weekend to do the work, and they considered it an ?emergency job?, due to the quickness of the request and being a weekend. Again, I was clear on the deadline I had, and all he had to do was notify me early enough so I could find someone else."
