"Elias Contruction provided a detailed estimate after inspecting the roof and making some qualified recommendations. The project required a few change orders that were not clarified in writing. I would recommend hiring Elias if you get changes in writing. They cleaned up pretty well although they missed a few things due to finishing in the dark. Overall satisfied with the job and cost was 60% of other bids due to sheathing adjustment."

"Marco and team have done exterior and interior painting for me over the past 15 years. They are meticulous about prep and painting. The results always meet and exceed my expectations. The recent exterior project was big. The rafters on my house and the old garage door needed a lot of love. Marco patiently caulked all of the openings to perfection. I have recommended him to many friends who all loved his work. They are friendly and easy to work with. Always on time and their cleanup is excellant. His pricing is great. I recommend Moon Construction without hesitation. Thank You Marco"

"The first concrete coating looked great but my wife noticed that some of the cracks showed up after the coating dried. She called customer service and they told us that the job would be redone at no cost to us. This involved sanding down the coating and reapplying a new layer of coating. My wife was extremely impressed with the way the coating turned out. I highly recommend Webfoot Concrete coating to anybody that is looking for a coating for their floor."

"I had organized for 6 neighbors and it was a fantastic experince. They do work all over the valley. It is a step up in terms of quality from anything you would see in the neighborhood. It was a little more expensive, but worth it. They had to dig deep holes for the posts, and my yard had 3 gates. The latches were powder coated, and they are nice and lockable. The gate posts were powder coated steel posts and you just don't find that. The number one reason to recommend them would be value. They advertize that you get a lot more for a little more and I agree. They had very good communication and workmanship."

"This company is awesome. Very communicative, responsive, ethical, on time and even went the extra mile when it appeared some bubbles appeared. They came back immediately, re-sanded the floor and put another coat on. The floor looks fabulous and I will definitely recommend them to anyone else looking for this service and of course, these people will be the only company I use in the future. Thank you David and all of your employees for such great service and great work. AWESOME"

FAQs for concrete patios, walks & steps installation projects in Tillamook, OR

Most sidewalks rely on a ready‑mix blend of Portland cement, sand, gravel, and water that trucks deliver to your site and pour in one continuous lift. For added strength, many contractors fold in fiber mesh or steel reinforcement. This mix cures into a rock‑solid slab that stands up to foot traffic, freeze‑thaw cycles, and daily wear for decades. Expect a pro to recommend a 4‑inch‑thick pour for standard walkways.

With the right mix, proper drainage, and routine upkeep, a concrete sidewalk can last 25 to 50 years. Freeze‑thaw cycles, road salt, and heavy loads all shorten that timeline, but sealing every few years and patching small cracks early keeps damage in check. Think of sealing as inexpensive insurance for decades of safe, stable footing. In milder climates, some slabs push well past the 30‑year mark without major repairs.

Concrete sidewalks crack as a result of significant temperature fluctuations and heavy load pressures. The freeze-thaw cycles and sustained weight from vehicles or intense foot traffic force the concrete to develop cracks over time. Applying a premium sealant every two to three years and substituting salt with sand for de-icing minimizes crack formation. Regular maintenance and timely repairs safeguard the sidewalk’s structural integrity and extend its service life.
