"This was a complex project with a lot of moving parts.
Several thousand square feet of patio, complicated pool coping and a significant amount of reconstruction. The land I gave Carl to work with was ugly and unstable.
I give Carl an A for time and price because of the value he brings to the table. Not because he's the cheapest or the fastest sprinter.
Some significant challenges materialized over the course of the job that added time and cost to the project. The great thing is Carl rolled with the punches, reacted fast, didn't compromise quality, and never asked for more money.
This was not an easy piece of land to work with. A 40 year old pool patio on shaky foundations.
His foreman/mason Eddie is the only person I trust to do anymore work on my hardscape/landscape. His ability, attention to detail and work ethic is unquestionable.

"We got several bids for reconstructing the driveway, and then Paul proposed a process that would seal the several large cracks and bond them together, then resurface the entire drive. This was a considerable savings over reconstruction. Since the original base was in good condition, and resurfacing would avoid the problem of future settling, we went with MHT. We are very pleased with the results. I was impressed with Paul's timeliness and responsiveness. He came when he said he would and always called if he was going to be later than originally planned. His crew was polite, efficient and competent. One special issue we had was the need to blend the new surface of the drive with the walk to the front door which had been installed just two years earlier. "I had a Groupon for 1000 sq. ft. of driveway sealing.  I have about 2000 sq. ft.  I bought the Groupon and called, and I was told it would be another $170, so I wanted to set the appointment.  It actually took a year to get done, as he had too many Groupon customers and was giving scheduling preference to his existing client base.  Once we had the appointment, they arrived on time, could not have been more pleasant, did a great job, and left the area spotless.
