"Damien did an outstanding job. He explained everything he was doing. He was courteous and very professional. He was hired to install a 60 amp switch bo.x. He also repaired my doorbell and installed a Ring video door bell. I strongly recommend Damien (lLight of the World) for any electrical job you have.."

"First visit this year, electrician found and isolated portion of the circuit that was causing the problem, plus installed two exterior light fixtures at main entrance door. Second visit Installed GFCI's required to bring home up to code for resale and installed two exterior motion sensitive light fixtures. All completed at a reasonable as quoted price in minimum time. Technician extremely competent as well as personable. If I have other electrical needs, I will call on Mr Electric"

Small jobs welcome

"Happy to say I finally found someone reliable, he said he's coming at 8 he was there by 8:15 (not like the other guys that gave me a 4 hour window of when they "may show up if we have time") he was well priced and when he finished the work he actually cleaned up after himself 10/10 would hire him again for future projects. "This was the second plumbing company that had reached out to me on a day that I was having a new washing machine delivered to my home. Please note that I was aware that the valve hookup I had was original to the home (built in 1986). Yet, please understand that two other washers had been installed and replaced during that time. So, to be informed by the installer of this new machine (the day of) that the valves needed to be replaced before installation was a bit of a disappointment and was an inconvenience. And I let them know that. Unfortunately, they didn’t care which is why I am not going to name who the retailer was who sold me the washing machine. Nevertheless, the valve problem had to be solved right away and it was Trevor from Patrick Riley, LLC who came to the rescue. More on my experience with him later… But first, I spoke to Michael in dispatch. I asked him a series of questions about the company, including it’s history as I had seen the trucks in my neighborhood over the past few months. Ironically, I had also went to high school with a guy by the name, Patrick Riley, in central California, so the name was easy to remember. Michael was able to schedule a plumber within an hour of my call. I was informed that the plumber would come to the home, assess the issue, give me a quote, and at that point I could either accept the offer or not. No obligation. So, Trevor the plumber stops by almost a half hour after calling my number. And he did exactly what Michael had described that he would do. Trevor was also kind enough to check out another plumbing issue that I had with a bathroom tub drain. Initially, I declined the offer. However, in thinking that I could possibly have the washing machine re-delivered to my home, later that day; I then accepted the offer and Trevor promptly went to work on replacing the valves. I also have to note that Trevor needed to cut a rectangle into the wall to inspect the pipes attached to the old valves to make sure there was no leakage in the old pipes. Overall, I would say that although it was a slight inconvenience, it was a positive experience with Patrick Riley, LLC. In all, I paid $500 plus for the service and to me it was well worth it."

"They were great and very professional. In and out for a bathroom vent fan repair in under 30 minutes. However, that small job was $454 and they also tried to upsell me on replacing all of my breakers on my electrical panel ($2,576) as well as add a whole home surge protector ($918). Feels a bit excessive to push over $3,000 of work for what was started as a small job."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Tonopah, AZ

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
