"My husband and I have been thinking for several months to get convert our backyard to a drought tolerant landscape. We want to lower our water bill as much as possible and revamp our yard and get it ready for summer. We decided to hire Motti because we felt he gave us the best presentation of ideas for the yard and his background knowledge of landscaping. We had our grass ripped off completely and remove very old sprinklers. The crew planted about 50 California Native and desert type plants with a new irrigation and removal of a Yucca type tree, with stump and roots. DG and rocks were also installed. Overall the project came out great. We are happy and will call Motti for our next project (Front yard)."

"Mr. Perez and his crew did an excellent job. The price was fair and the work was done efficiently and in a timely manner. Mr. Perez is a highly skilled landscaper. I give him the highest level of recommendation without reservation."

"Our experience with Encore Builders began with a simple phone call to inquire about transforming our front yard with artificial turf and some additional work. One of my close friends used Encore Builders for a similar project and was very satisfied. From that first conversation, we had a good feeling. Making the Appointment: When we called Encore Builders, they listened to our ideas and needs, and then promptly scheduled an appointment for a consultation. They made it clear that our vision was their priority, which immediately put us at ease. Getting the Quote: A few days later, ozzy arrived at our home for the consultation. Heâ s incredibly knowledgeable. We walked through our front yard, discussing the possibilities and potential challenges. He offered insightful suggestions on how to maximize our space and enhance the curb appeal of our home. After taking measurements and thoroughly assessing the area, he promised to get back to us with a detailed quote within a couple of days. As promised we got the quote after 24 hours. Deciding on the Turf: After reviewing the quote, We discussed different types of artificial turf, each with varying textures, colors, and durability. Ozzy brought samples for us to feel and compare. He explained the benefits of each option and helped us choose the perfect turf that would look natural and stand the test of time. We also discussed the pavers for the parking spot, choosing a design and color scheme that would complement the turf and our homeâ s exterior. For the vinyl fence, we settled on a style that had an aesthetic appeal. On the scheduled start date, the Encore Builders team arrived right on time, ready to work. The crew was professional and efficient, keeping the work area tidy and minimizing disruption to our daily routine. They completed the artificial turf installation first, ensuring a seamless, natural look. Next, they laid the pavers with precision, creating a sturdy and attractive parking spot. Finally, they installed the vinyl fence, which perfectly framed our new front yard. Throughout the project, the team kept us informed, checking in regularly to ensure we were satisfied with the progress."

"We contacted G&L design for a professional design of our back yard space in Santa Clarita about 2 years ago. Mike worked with us to determine our preferences, gave us two suggested directions, and when we chose one, presented us with a beautiful landscape design that checked every box. Fast forward two years, we were ready to execute on the design and decided to hire G&L to carry out the work. The work was done carefully and well, not a rush job. The workmen were consistently courteous and kept a clean worksite. Now we are looking at our very beautiful new backyard, with spaces for entertaining, gardening, and everything else we wanted. They did not cut corners with the quality of the work. I highly recommend this company! I think they may be a bit pricier than other choices, but you get what you pay for."

"The backyard transformation included a concrete patio, a covered BBQ area, new walkways, landscape lighting, and a complete planting update. We wanted the BBQ station close to the home for easy access, with the patio extending outward into the yard for more open space. The patio cover was designed with enough height to keep the area open and bright while providing afternoon shade. They also installed new irrigation before planting, and finished the walkways with matching concrete. The finished backyard gives us several useful areas without making the property look overbuilt."

"They provided excellent service and was very professional and quick. I am so pleased with the outcome. My yard is beautiful. All the neighbors are envious. They came back with a quote that be out all the other landscapers and were very nice to work with. Five stars across the board."

"Alejandro really knows his stuff as far as landscaping. He helps us pick out plants and how to lay them out, and they have done far more than that in our yard. He is reliable and comes by every week to do yard work."

"Our front yard had deteriorated badly in recent years due to the drought and deer population. Our terraced yard had been held in place by ivy that was dead and the hillside was starting to erode. Brian from Picture Build met with me to discuss our options. Drought and deer tolerant plants were a must for us, as well as some way to hold the slopes in place. We had met with other landscaping companies before, but Brian made new suggestions that appealed to us (e.g. a granite rock wall where we couldn't build a retaining wall due to utilities easement, among other things). We decided to move forward. The next step was meeting with the design team from Remarkable Gardens. The ladies were very nice to work with and produced a design that we were very happy with. Brian then provided a budget and plan that fit nicely into our expectations. The Picture Build crew were all courteous and professional as the project moved into the execution phase. I'm home during the day, so I was present for most of the work and tended to ask a fair amount of questions. The crew were always willing to talk with me and never made me feel that I was being intrusive. We did have some change orders along the way - some expected, some at our request and some unexpected but not considered by us to be unreasonable. There was a point near the end of the project when we were not clear on the status of some some loose ends. I called Brian to discuss these issues and within 24 hours it all had been addressed. My impression of Brian is that a top priority was our satisfaction of the outcome of our project. Also, about a week after the project completion, the irrigation system malfunctioned. We contacted the project manager, Brandon, who sent out a crew to fix the problem (caused by the high water pressure we have). The installed pressure valves and it's worked perfectly since. We are so pleased with the final results. We get so many compliments. I wouldn't hesitate to use Picture Build again and would recommend them highly to anyone."

"I really only received one knowledgeable landscaper. The second "helper" was an illegal migrant worker that had only been in America for two months. He over-promised and under-delivered on his work. I would not recommend him."
