Yann and his crew are hard workers and you can tell they genuinely care about what they're doing. They were all very respectful of our property and at the end of each work day, they made sure to leave our yard in order. The attention to detail really shows! The icing on the cake - my rottweiler is nervous around everyone but she became instant besties with Juan - I guess she could just tell they were good people because she would let any of them pet her without hiding. "Bertie was recommended to us by a friend for some work that he completed in Jamaica Plain. We recently built a 2nd floor on our cape in Milton and needed walls and ceilings in three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a hallway and stairwell. Bertie was prompt with his bid and was extremely flexible with his start date. He was finished with the entire job in less than four days, which was incredibly impressive. In addition, part of the demolition included tearing down two walls on the first floor and a strip of drywall by the front door. Without asking, Bertie fixed those as well and included them in the price. Furthermore, we are installing a pocket door and need to wait for that before drywall goes up, plus our plumber needs access to the shower before the durock goes up, and Bertie has already committed to helping us with those issues as soon as they are ready. I would absolutely hire Bertie again in a second if the need ever arises again."

"Mark Vachon isn't just a contractor, he's an artist! He had previously done a built in lovely shelf wall-unit for us, as well as replaced doors and windows for us. He's always prompt, professional, and brimming with ideas. We liked him immensely and knew he was the one to ask when we had a plan for a finishing touch on our family room that we weren't sure could be done. We asked him to create a book case that looked like a silhouette of tree. What he built, with just a picture of a leafless tree and a conversation with us, so exceeded our expectations that we are still giddy over it almost 3 months later. We're buying first editions of our favorite books to dress its shelves because nothing else is worthy of it. It's 14 feet tall and incredibly sturdy. Mark bent each branch to give the bookcase the graceful appearance of an oak tree. It was also textured to have the appearance of real bark. Every last detail shows Mark's incredible skill. Whether you are looking to have your kitchen redone, or something gorgeous and unique done, there is no one I would recommend higher than Mark."
