"Jake came in twice to meet with me to measure the length of the project and to provide me with quotes. He was always polite and professional and responded quickly to any online inquiries. Their price was similar to other quotes I got but after adding a second gate to the project and Hulme Fence honoring the 5% off Angie's List coupon I felt like I got a decent deal. They gave me a call on 08/26/2015 and we scheduled the installation for 09/01/2015. On that day a crew of two installers stopped by and installed the fence in one day. I had to point out few issues like spacing between the gate door and the gate posts but overall they did a good job of following the grade of our yard. I contacted the company on 09/09/2015 to point out few issues with the gates and few missing u-channels and the company owner stopped by on 09/12/2015 to inspect the fence. He installed bigger screws on both latches and after measuring one of the gates he said he will come back with a new gate because the one that was installed was crooked. About a week later they came back and installed a new gate. <br /> <br />"

"The quality of work was great. They were really busy and short staffed, so they came in a bit later than they had said originally, but it wasn't that big a deal. When they showed up, it was quick, and nice, and it was exactly the price they promised. They did an excellent job, and the quality of the fence is excellent."

"The fence was fine, but many years after the install I attempted to fix an issue that I assumed was caused buy the ground settling, I discovered what in my opinion was a **** poor installation. I had mistakenly assumed that all of the posts for the vinyl fence would have been installed and set in concrete BELOW frost level. When I started to work on the issue of the corner of the fence sagging I discovered that the corner post was cut off 1 inch below ground level and not set in cement which i paid for. After a few years of struggling with the fence gate I discovered the issue with the poorly installed corner post. So, I called Sweezy fence in Whitman mass to report the issue I got a response that I would hope other customers don't get. " Bla Bla Bla - we've been in business for 50 years, and this isn't our mistake". I fixed the issue with a days worth of labor, but wasn't happy with the shoddy installation of the corner post. Look at the attached picture and ask if this is how you would like your fence to look."

The finished project was amazing, Bill is a very talented guy, we could not be happier for the almost 900 sq ft. he built for us. It included a Media room, gym space and office space. "I had used this company once before and had a great experience. Not so good this time. I called for an estimate in May, and that went fine. They came back with the lowest price, and because of my good experience earlier I went with this company. There were some bumps this time, related to schedule and communication and also with the bid. The original date I was given for the work to be done was July 1. I took the day off from work to be there, but when I got there they had not shown up. When I called I was told that, due to rainy weather, they were behind and would not be coming that day. I understand about the rain, but no phone call was bad form. They arrived to do the work on the next business day when I could not be there. They worked for a while and then left. My neighbor's cable wire was ripped down when I stopped by to check things out. The next day I called Peter the owner, who told me that there had been an "emergency" and his crew would not be back yo complete the work until the following Saturday. Again, no call from this business to inform me of the delay. The office assistant told me that they were not finishing because they had a more important job. After I fm planed they sent the crew to finish, which I appreciated. When I got to the house I saw that they had left the old fence in a pile. All of the other bids I got included removal of the demolished fencing. I asked and was told that removal was not included, so now I have to hire a service to haul it away. In the end I very much wish that I had chosen a different company because they got the job by intentionally excluding this cost. I know from previous experience that this is a very common practice. The fence looks very good though. In summary I would say good work, but don't expect good communication and be very careful about what is in the quote."

"They installed the new cedar board fence entirely from scratch. Each board and cap pieces built entirely from scratch, including a beautiful gate with arched top and top of line hardware. We live in rocky ground, so they drilled as required and installed metal posts for proper support. Was very impressed with the craftsmanship displayed and the final product is more than we expected, plus being built like a tank. Only minor drawback is that they were backlogged so took about 5 weeks to get the installation date, but they were prompt once scheduled. Took a bit longer than expected (2.5 days), but seeing how they built it board by board, this makes sense. Price was near other quotes."
