"Duke's came out to clean the carpets in our new house. I wasn't happy that the carpets didn't come clean, especially in the traffic areas. (My Bissell green machine can spot treat an area cleaner than what the carpet looked like when Duke's was done.) I did ask him to come back and re-clean which he did, but the carpets still didn't look any better. <br /> <br /> I thought $50 seemed reasonable for cleaning and sealing the shower. However, it really didn't look clean either when he was finished. When I questioned him about a grout area that was still black, he told me I could take a little bleach and see if it came off. It actually did come clean when I cleaned it later <em>myself</em>. When I seal a shower, the water beads up on the grout, but with the process Duke's used, it didn't do that. I'm not sure the shower was really cleaned or sealed. <br /> <br /> Overall, I thought the price was high. They were only here 2 hours, which included the time we walked through the house and I explained what I wanted done. I won't be using his company in the future. I will go back to using my previous carpet cleaner. They took extra time on the stains and problem areas and the carpet always looked new again, plus their price was much more reasonable."

They explained that we'd need to go barefoot for the first hour or avoid the carpets all together (because I had protector put on the carpets after the cleaning) and then to wait 24-hours before putting heavy furniture back down. He was kind enough to spot clean on some trouble areas as well. I'm just really impressed with them. "When I first contacted Hughey Hartman I sent photos of my chairs and asked for a ballpark figure to recover them and was told 125/chair which was great since they originally cost me 250/chair. <br /> <br /> I took the chairs myself to Hughey Hartman on a Monday and unloaded them by myself even though there were two large men that could have helped but made no effort to do so. First red flag...secondly I was told it would be 269/chair...second red flag. I was always told Hughey Hartman was the best so I figured new ones would cost me 250/chair plus shipping so I gave the ok. <br /> <br /> I loved the colors I chose and it appeared to be a job well done when I first saw them. Upon closer inspections at the store I noticed black hand prints all over the the new vinyl which I pointed out to the young lady. She took a rag and cleaned one smudge off and told me not to use Goo Be Gone on the vinyl. The young lady and I then loaded the cars into my car even though once again two able bodied men were standing there. When I got the chairs home I noticed the tacks on the backside of the chairs were not properly seated and in fact some were bent and the legs had some kind of sticky tacky adhesive on them. So after spending $569.00 on two diner chairs I felt it was time to send an email to Hughey Hartman asking for advice on how to correct the tack problem and express my disappointment in the dirty covering and steel legs. I have sent two emails with no response as of yet. To be fair it has only been 36 hours so I am still hopeful. <br /> <br /> Update...a most unprofessional, unthoughtful email was sent to me stating....I guess you could bring them back here so we can correct it...this did not endear me to the company at all. I responded that I wasn't happy about this...I have heard nothing so I'm done. It can't be too hard to find someone to correct the bad tack job and I can clean them myself. <br /> <br /> Won't be returning. I suppose that if you have a huge business or are spending more than $569 they must tow the line according the other reviews, but for me...I just didn't feel the love. <br /> <br /> I do have a photo of the tack job which I will try to attach to my review. <br /> <br /> ******************************UPDATE AS OF JUNE 25th, 2013******************************** <br /> On June 17th our chairs were picked up by Mr. Hughey and taken back to his place of business to have all issues corrected. We received our chairs today and we are absolutely satistifed with the results. They are picture perfect and look like brand new chairs. We were absolutely stunned at the difference in work and would like to thank Hughey Hartman for correcting the issues. <br /> <br />"
