There was a small problem with the installation where one of the brackets was pinching an electrical wire and causing it to short out. But after we had an electrician out to figure out the problem, T&C agreed it was a mistake and paid the electrician's invoice. Everyone we deal with was very friendly."

They're far more responsive than any other alarm company I've worked with and they're focused on meeting your needs, versus endlessly trying to get you to buy more services and sensors that you might not need. In the house I just bought some other alarm company had installed a window open/close sensor on a window that doesn't open - probably fooling the prior senior citizen owners to pay more for more equipment they didn't need. I rest assured that 1st Security would never do something so foolish and greedy. They're good, honest people, and this is something that's unfortunately hard to find in the alarm business. (This was after I had already spoken with several contractors whom were either not comfortable or interested in doing the job or just pushed me aside.) Nick promptly called Sunday evening to discuss the project and came out Tuesday to look at the door. We discussed a plan and he came back out the following day to do the job. He was very professional and his work was outstanding. Stay Dry will send an inspector/salesman to your house for free to do the same thing I paid a hundred dollars for, it was Angie's List that pocketed the money. I called the Stay Dry 800 number and was told they do not receive any money from the offer listed here, when I asked who was getting the money they said Angie's List. I was then told that after the inspection/salesman meeting I would receive a coupon for $200-300 off the actual drainage installation service from Angie's List should I choose to go ahead with the project, but I NEVER GOT A COUPON. So I paid a hundred dollars for a service that is offered free by the actual provider, while the site I look to to save me money on scams and bad contractors actually ripped me off!
