They installed all the windows in our home in a day, put all the window shades and furniture back in order, and cleaned everything up before they left. One of the screens had a cut on it and the installer fixed it immediately on site. Worth every penny. The person that did the estimate was very professional and not pushy. Great experience overall. "I called at the end of September for a gutter cleaning and repair job, thinking a great roofing company would be gentle with my old house. They came out two weeks later to look and said the gutters were too old for them to repair. OK, so we were set up for them to be cleaned. Called them in November I think, and was called back the next day with a message about being on a list of cleaning jobs, being busy/other jobs/winter weather. Nothing in December, no answering service on the phone after hours in Ithaca. By the second week of January, I called to cancel the work order after not receiving a call back from the Cortland office for a few days. Thankfully, I was given a recommended, insured handy man reference instead. Emailed him, checked out the job the next day, gutters cleaned the day after that. Not sure what happened since I used JD Ferro four years ago for a small job and they were responsive and great, even in the middle of winter. I can not recommend them anymore. <br />"

The copper flashing was pulling away from around my chimney and looked like it was in need of repair or replacement. I had previously worked with another well reviewed roofing company on Angie's List that missed my scheduled appointment to examine my chimney flashing. So I was very pleased when Andrew from Gunner showed up exactly when promised, and I was quite fascinated with his use of a drone to take precise aerial photographs of the work to be performed from all angles - a rather tech savvy approach. Gunner provided a detailed estimate within hours, that was only 1/3 the cost of the estimate I ultimately received from that other roofer. Gunner Roofing completed the work on time, and did a very satisfactory job. This was a relatively modest project, but based on my experience, I hope to use Gunner Roofing when it comes time to redo my entire roof."
