"The reason I engaged Mark Wayne to reconstruct a leaning and cracked retaining wall was a direct result of his excellent work on another retaining wall he repaired for me three years ago. There were many deficiencies in the original construction of both walls. Mark ensured that basic engineering applications were adhered to. He made sure that the concrete blocks were properly tied in; rebar was inserted in the block, secured with concrete and adequate drain or weep holes where established. The brick veneer was properly anchored to the concrete blocks ensuring that the bricks would not separate from the concrete blocks. He backfilled the wall and cleaned up the work site.
