"Tony is not your average contractor. This is my second review of this business. He initially did a complete demo and restoration of my bathroom. His work was meticulous and he was friendly and very responsive. The current job was an entire interior paint job of my 3 bedroom split ranch. Again, he did an excellent job. He also re-grouted my bluestone patio and did several small jobs around the house. He defies all of your preconceived notions of what a contractor is. Very intelligent, a meticulous craftsman and a friendly communicator, sending photo updates regularly and asking appropriate questions when necessary. "Steve Tart (the son from Steve and Sons) returned my initial call quickly and came out to give me an estimate as requested. I was on a tight time frame because I am leaving the area and wanted to take care of this work beforehand so I won't have to worry. Once I decided to hire him, he went out of his way to schedule my small project - replacing the horrifically leaky downspout and cleaning the gutter. He came out when he promised, with all the required materials and tools. My dow spout is now complete and the work was done beautifully! I'm actually hoping for a storm so I can "see" how well it works! Steve is personable, easy to work with, and does great work. I couldn't ask for more! He is now officially my go to guy for any future work or any issues that crop up."

"A tree fell on my house Christmas Day. It broke my PVC fence. I found JLA and they were willing to repair my fence in the dead of winter. They did a great job. Luis noticed I needed cement work repair. I told him I would call in the Spring and I did. Luis and his team, with my approval, gave the house a total and much needed face lift. To give you a sense, all concrete was removed and replaced with pavers, driveway and steps included, driveway walls were repaired, covered in stucco, and topped in bluestone, the stairs were topped in bluestone, the bricks on the house were pointed, the front of the house was refaced with stucco., the awning was removed and replaced, the wrought iron rail was removed and replaced, the entire house was painted, my PVC fence was cleaned, my backyard pavers were cleaned and sealed, my backyard fence was repaired and sealed, my gutters were repaired, my back step was repaired and, if that was not enough, my garage was painted and commercial tile placed on the floor and shelving put on the walls. There were other things that I know I am leaving out but the point is there is nothing that Luis and the team cannot do and they do it so pleasantly. They are hard-working and completely trustworthy. I can't begin to tell you how many compliments I get on my home now...and even my garage. It seems like a silly thing but I use the garage to enter my house and it really looked awful before. A friend of my husband's stopped by yesterday and they say men never notice anything...well this one did. He noticed everything we did on the house and he was really impressed. I recommend Luis and the team to you with absolutely no reservations at all. JLA can take care of all you home improvement/repair needs. No need to call anyone else."

"Danny and his team are incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of home remodeling, work hard and fast, maintain excellent communication, and do it at a fair, no-surprises cost. They took on a project that turned into a gut renovation of our 100-year-old basement and turned a dank, cramped pair of rooms into a bright, functional space where my kids can play safely and I can work comfortably. They demo'ed an old kitchen, knocked out walls, built custom cabinetry and storage, rerouted piping and electrical components, even took time to experiment to make a match for the disrupted floor tiles.
