"Although Mike was on vacation when we first contacted him by email, he still responded within 24 hours and then kept the communication going throughout the job, either by phone or by email (my preference). Having just returned from a few days off he had quite a few jobs to attend to, but came out and gave us an estimate on the jobs we had lined up along with a date for the work. He may not be the cheapest handyman in town, but he's fair and does good work. He's also reliable (shows up on time) and explains everything he's going to do before he does it, taking pictures of the roof in our case and then does the repairs and showed me pictures of his repairs. That way I didn't have to climb up on the roof! 
We were very pleased with the work done and should we need repairs of this sort in the future, will be sure to write/call him again.
