"all of this work was done over a 3-4 year period. we have used Martine and his Co. exclusively, have asked for bids from others, but have never seen anyone to compare with this company. The first thing you notice is that the owner surveys the job and makes the estimate, I have never had a painter apply for a job that was as nice appearing, neat and clean as Martine. The work is always accomplished in an expidited fashion, on schedule, and cleaned up better than I could do it. I will continue to use Palace Painting. Please note that although I gave a date of service, I have used Palace Painting for several years, not just one date."

"It was excellent. Good assessment of the work that needed to be completed and selecting the color of the paint for the ceiling because it was very hard to match and it was done well. The price was very good. It was a good experience. Done timely. Good clean up."

"Took about 3 weeks to get scheduled.  Once it was scheduled, his people showed up for the demolition and then installed the new cabinets.  They called their own contract plumber to replace and cap a water line for the refrigerator, the guy did poor work and used cheap materials for the line. <br /> Cabinet install went well overall.  Good work. <br />"

"We had a little trouble with the service but overall they were pretty good. I originally called them to ask if they could do everything from start to finish. I asked if they could re do the floors and the bathroom. They said they could do it but it turned out they did not have the proper license or permits to get that job completed. I was frustrated because I wish they would have told me this up front. As opposed to doing the work and then later telling me they could not do the work. I was across the country at the time and I had to go through the process again of finding a provider for that particular project. I could have started looking for someone a lot sooner. However, they did a good job and the price was right. Everything went pretty smoothly."

"<p>For the past year I had been contemplating adding a gated entrance and coyote fence to make my property a bit more private. I understood this was going to be quite an expensive job so I took my time getting estimates to save some money. I really wanted to make sure I did not sacrifice quality. I saw an ad hanging on the bulletin at the coffe shop in the San Busco center for these guys and decided to give them a call.</p> <p>Long story short, I am a straight shooter and like to get to the point quickly. I called them up and spoke to Eddie. He agreed to come out and take a look at the property and give an estimate. The wall I wanted was to be 6 ft high. I also wanted pillars and a 150' coyote fence. The estimate came in at $19,000 including materials. I had been shopping around quite extensively. This was on the lower end of the estimates I had recieved. I was able to negotiate and we agreed on $17,000. I was happy with the price. The fact that this company isn't very well known yet threw me off, but Eddie seemed very genuine and was very adiment in assuring me the job would be done correctly and they would not cut any corners to ensure the quality was top notch. He also guaranteed his work for 5 years I decided to give them a shot. </p> <p>We were out of town visiting family and were only home for the first day of the job. Eddie and his workers showed up in a timely manner and began work quickly. When we arrived 2 weeks later and finally were able to see the completed fence and wall we were expremely pleased. The coyote fence came out very straight and level at the top of the poles. The wall was exactly as I had pictured it. Another detail worth mentioning is our property was spotless when we arrived home. No trash or stucco lying around. Very professional. We had to purchase the gate and have it installed elsewhere.</p> <p>In conclusion, I was nervous spending so much money, but I was being "cheap". It definately paid off in this case. I woud recommend this company again.</p> <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Fabian and Hugo did a terrific job getting our furniture and boxes packed up and moved. They worked hard and got everything done, from start to finish, in about four hours. They did a phenomenal job packing up the truck, and we didn't suffer a single breakage. Highly recommended! <br />"

FAQs for exterior home or structure paint or stain projects in Tucumcari, NM

Painting vinyl siding is a budget-friendly way to revive curb appeal without paying for new panels. As long as the boards aren’t warped, cracked, or leaking, a coat of high-quality acrylic paint can buy you another five to 10 years before replacement.

Stick to lighter shades so the siding doesn’t soak up excess heat, and prep the surface well for the paint to bond. If you’re seeing rot or moisture damage, skip the paint and plan for new siding instead.

High-quality acrylic paint is recommended for vinyl siding. Acrylic paint adheres firmly to vinyl surfaces and resists peeling and fading, providing a sleek and long-lasting finish. Ensure the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for optimal results. Your exterior painting pro has the expertise to properly prepare your siding’s surface to ensure proper adhesion.

Priming is not required if the vinyl siding remains in good condition and is properly cleaned. However, if the original color is severely faded or the panels have become porous, priming becomes essential. Priming provides a smooth, even base that improves paint adhesion and enhances durability, ensuring the acrylic finish adheres properly and lasts longer.

A paint sprayer is the quickest, most consistent way to coat vinyl siding. The fine mist reaches grooves a roller can miss and lays down an even layer in a fraction of the time. You’ll still need a brush for tight corners, but a sprayer slashes labor hours and reduces lap marks.

If you’re renting equipment, ask the supplier for a tip size made for exterior acrylics so the paint atomizes correctly and sticks to the siding.

Painted vinyl siding lasts between five and 10 years. The durability depends on the quality of the surface preparation and the local climate conditions. When the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepped, and high-quality acrylic paint is used, the finish endures longer. In hotter regions, the lifespan may be closer to five years, while cooler climates help extend it.
