"Started with purchasing a great deal from a discount website. There were several criteria involved in selecting the company: Angie's List rating, steam clean only, price, & served my zip code (98391). I initially had to contact the company four times: busy signal, left voicemail, sent email, called and they answered. Their scheduling was very convenient and they came in 3 days later. They do give a three hour window in which they will come but will call about 20 minutes before they arrive. Though they do not move furniture since it is only one person, the gentleman that arrived to do the cleaning helped me move our heavy couch. He spoke with us about what has needed for the heavily soiled or stained areas. The extra agitator service was $45 more and only a 1m x 2m space was done. I felt he went took fast once he got started. It was only one quick pass, and I did feel like the water was actually "steam" cleaning. He also could have done a better job trying to suck as much of it up so it didn't take so long to dry. We began walking on it with bags on our feet about 6 hours later with all of our fans and heaters blowing on it, and all the windows open. We could still feel moisture for another 30 hours. Some areas we saw no change, like the stairs, but the area cleaned with the agitator looked 10 times better. Overall we were satisfied, and the value was great, but had we paid full price we may had been disappointed.

"Great. We went through the Costco program and that is how we found Haight Carpet. We had several companies provide bids for us and theirs was very competitive. We also loved working with their sales person Mark. he was so helpful and guided us through the process and acknowledging our needs to give us the best product that would work for our family and lifestyle. The installer Alexi was fast and really good at what he does. Would highly recommend them over and over. They are now installing the backsplash in our kitchen next week. "Well, they did a decent job for what I would have expected two cleaners to do in the time they did it for a regular maintenance service. The two ladies were right on time -- I forgot their names but they were very nice and pleasant. However, the "Big Deal" I purchased was supposed to be "home deep cleaning up to 2,000 square feet ... for as long as it takes" as advertised (details pasted below). I was hoping for a little bit more white-glove quality in an effort to lock me in as a regular customer -- especially since I only asked them to clean about 1,000 square feet, not my whole house. Because of the smaller space I asked them to cover -- I thought that would give them the opportunity to really focus on the details. They ended up finishing after maybe 4-5 hours. The ceiling fan, and any ceiling cobwebs were dusted. All flat surfaces including windowsills were scrubbed down and the floors vacuumed/mopped. Kitchen and bathroom surfaces were cleaned and objects neatly organized -- however the tub and shower walls still had a film and could have been cleaner. Also, the books on the bookshelves were still coated in dust, as were various knick knacks and objets d'art, and doors and floorboards still had marks. Bottom line, if the service I got would normally be $400 instead of $189, I don't think I would hire them again. But I feel $189 is a fair regular price for the work they did do so if that was offered to me on a regular basis I would consider hiring them again. I do not consider the service I got qualified for an Angie's List "Big Deal" though.
