"Our bathroom was outdated and cramped, so we decided to remodel with Ocean Seven Builders. Ron was involved throughout the process and made sure we understood each step. What stood out most was how organized everything felt once the work began. The team was respectful of our home and finished the project close to the expected timeline. The final result looks modern and much more functional!"

"Excellent. Very professional and knowledgeable on design; wood, tile, Luxury vinyl plank. Very responsive to questions and explained every step of the project. I received a detailed bId for the project which included budget options. I felt respected and heard as I explained my project which was very fluid in the beginning. They arrived on time; explained what to expect and time frame for the project. They moved our furniture; no damages; cleaned up the work sight and gave us a detailed Invoice. I highly recommend them!!! Already planning My next project and hiring them AGAIN!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Tuolumne, CA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
