He has access to products that you won't find in the big box stores like the Decorative PVC exterior Columns he used to replace our rotting exterior overhang supports. "I had been putting off replacing an original sliding door in our home for a long time. Since we never had a deck, we never had a need to use that door therefore no point in replacing it. This year we had a new deck built and decided it was finally time to replace that original sliding door. I was referred to Thompson Creek by friends and co-workers. They were great to work with. They did not pressure us to buy now. They presented their offer, came out to take measurements and came out when they promised to perform the installation. We couldn't be happier with our new door. After a week of having our new door installed we also noticed that we are not heating the house as much as we used to - which saves us money! Thank you Thompson Creek!"

"The crew was on time every morning and worked at least part of every day during the period.  Length of day depended on what materials had been delivered, whether there was wet paint or spackling that had to be allowed to dry, etc.  Our contract called for the work to be done in seven weeks and it was done in six.  
The final cost was very close to the original estimate and we were notified of any adjustments, plus or minus, when they occurred, so there were no surprises or sticker shock.  For example, Steve suggested changing the original plan by moving the toilet to a better location, which would open the bathroom up much more and make it noticeably larger.  It was a great idea, but there was a slight additional cost for plumbing and we were told this before the change was made and we approved it.  By the same token, an original plan to build a new closet in the adjoining room was dropped and there was a corresponding reduction in the costs.  

Mickey made two or three visits to our house to scope out possible plans for the new bathroom long before work began.  He also spent an entire day with us visiting the various shops that sold the materials we needed, including counter tops, tile, and plumbing fixtures.  He also ordered cabinets and other materials to our specifications.
The quality of the work was first rate and we are very happy with the new bathroom, closet and hallway.  There were some minor fixes and touch ups that were needed in the days following completion of work, and someone was here promptly each day to complete them until we were satisfied.  

The crew deserves special praise for their excellent work, terrific attitude, professionalism and friendliness.  If you are going to have people working in your house for six weeks, these are the kind of guys you want doing the work.  We became friends with all of them and will have them back for more work this year.All in all, we could not be happier with Hassle Free Home Improvements and highly recommend the company."

"The move occurred on perhaps the worst possible day of the year.  It rained the night before and was cloudy and 82 degrees by 8:30 AM, so the humidity was outrageous. Just as things were drying out a bit, new clouds rolled in, the sky opened up and it dumped for 30 minutes...followed by more sun and even worse humidity. These guys did not complain (to me) and just  busted their humps all day to get the job done.  Move start was scheduled for between 9 and 10, they arrived at 9:30, right on time.
They were extremely conscientious about wrapping every piece of furniture, moving exactly what I wanted.  Despite being absolutely beat and the end of the say, when I asked them to move a few heavy pieces around and reassemble some of the furniture they had taken apart, they obliged quickly and without complaint., very professional.  There were a few minor bumps, a dropped box here and a misplaced  (ie wrong location)one there, but they were hustling in the end to avoid more rain that started to come down, so it was understandable. I havent yet opened  every box but so far nothing is missing and nothing is broken.
i called a couple of places and their price for a 4 man crew seemed very reasonable. We got our moneys worth.  I would recommend using them.

"The install started on Friday and Finished on Saturday.  On Friday the workers removed all the flooring and stored the laminate so I could reuse it in my basement.  They did an exceptional job removing the flooring since it was not glued or staples to the subfloor.  On Friday they fully finished removing all the staples and from the extra subfloor that was installed and secured the original sub floor to remove all the squeaks from several locations.  They took care in moving appliances as needed.  Some of the new hard was partially installed on friday before they stopped work for the day.  On Sat they returned and fully installed all the the new hard wood.  They cleaned up inside and out where they were working.  There was some minor accidents but they were remedied quickly by the owner.  I am very understanding with them since it was easy fixes and accidents happen.  I would use them again and recommend them to my friends and family.  Ash was very responsive when contacted.  Great company to deal with..
