"Last winter my arborvitae hedge was badly damaged by heavy snow. This week Cory from Set Apart Tree service carefully pruned and trimmed it. Within one hour I was pleased to see it beginning to look attractive again. Using pruners and loppers (no chainsaw) he removed heavily damaged branches and lightened drooping branches so they could stand straight again. The hedge is now airy and natural, still high enough to provide privacy, and healthy enough to regain the strength needed to withstand the snow next winter. I have a garden growing alongside the hedge, planted with many perennial and annual plants. Cory was able to work without damaging them! I would use Set Apart Tree Service again."

"They arrived on schedule and quickly got to work removing eight very old trees. The four person team all knew their tasks and were always working - no standing around smoking or cell phone usage. They were the hardest working and most polite crew I have ever seen. Their equipment was in perfect order and clean - no oil or hydraulic leaks. All work was done in a safe, professional manner. Our Honey Locust had been hit by lightening a few years ago. This spring my husband noticed part of the lower trunk bark missing. Carpenter ants had infested it and this huge tree of ours might have fallen onto our home at some point. We decided that it had to be removed, found Adams & Sons Tree Service & hired them after they came out to look at our tree. They assured us that they could do the job of removal, clean up, etc . "Mary and her crew thought of everything. They put the mulch in the street before spreading so they did not stain our new driveway cement. When they uncovered stumps they quickly found stump grinder and took care of that problem. The job was hedge trimming, planting grass, tree and stump removal, and mulching beds. Very affordable and very good on details and clean up."
