"Ron came out to tour the property around October just to talk through problem areas with the trees and remedy options.  He seems very knowledgeable and it was great to talk to him about tree care and also general landscape challenges.  He told me how the excavation that had occurred during construction of the house (7 years ago) had damaged roots of some large trees near the house - this is why they were showing wounds.  In addition to the growth inhibitor for the damaged large trees, he helped me decide to cut down some box elder trees and offered some advice on how best to remove honeysuckle and his thoughts on the best replacement trees/shrubs.  Our Austrian Pines were suffering from some sapsucker and bug attacks so we signed up for seasonal care to help combat the effects.  I guess the downside is that I'm not really sure if any of this will work until a year or two down the road? <br />"

"They came when they said they were going to come and they did a good job with the lawn. They cut things that I didn't think could be cut and they trimmed them all. The owner was the guy that we dealt with. Unfortunately, he was very pushy. It had to be his way or we couldn't do it like I asked him to, which was every other week. He said no. He said because it would get too big in between. I find it problematic when people immediately say that they have huge lawn because I do and how much they charge and how much were getting a really good deal for something. I don't really care. I am just trying to get the best deal possible. That is why I stopped using them. If you can put up with the attitude, it was good service. If we had dealt with someone else who was a little more laid back, we probably would still be using them."

He met with me two separate times to evaluate my needs and discuss plans, and was always responsive when I had questions. The team came out exactly as scheduled, transformed my yards, and even cleaned up my outdoor space. They also weeded and mulched a bed in the front of my house- a welcome surprise! "We needed to connect our patio to our deck stairs and lower concrete patio. We also had a steep slope we needed a stair-type solution to. Jake came out and went over the details with us. We decided to replace the current square concrete block patio under the pergola with a round paver patio that connected everything. Jake also recommended a large natural stone block stair to deal with the slope. After getting the estimate we were pleased and went ahead and paid the half up-front to get it on the books. They were able to start only a couple months later and spent a good week working on the project. The old patio was torn down and the blocks carefully stacked. Yard damage was minimized and a very nice patio and path was built. The initial stairs connecting to the concrete patio wasn't exactly what we wanted, and Jake had it rebuilt with no complaints and no additional cost. We are extremely pleased with how everything turned-out, and would definitely recommend them."

"My previous provider, Nitro Lawn, merged or was acquired by Nature's Way.  I was extremely pleased with Greg Smith and Nitro Lawn.  He is still involved with the company and still covers my address, although the  quality is not quite what it used to be.  The second treatment burned a section of my grass, and while they did come out and look at it and <em><strong>actually took responsibility</strong></em>, it is a month later and my yard still has not recovered. <br /> I will continue to use Nature's Way for now, but if the quality continues to decline, I will have to start weighing options. <br />"
