"<strong><em>We attempted to obtain bids from two other local  providers and didn't even receive return phone calls from them.  After obtaining Terry's name from Angie's List, we telephoned Terry and he was in our home within the hour to give us an estimate.  The estimate was somewhat broad as it was not possible to determine how difficult it would be to remove the old wood flooring that had been glued to the cement slab in our kitchen-dining area. He gave us several flooring options and even assisted us at Lowe's to select appropriate material.<br /> When it was time to start the work, Terry appeared promptly when he said he would.  He removed the old flooring, which was difficult, but worked very quickly and efficiently. The following day, he again appeared promptly and commenced installation of the new floating Pergo flooring.  He again worked quickly and was able to bring in an associate to handle a plumbing item when that became necessary.  He knows a variety of workmen in the area and has the ability to get things done.<br /> Terry was truly professional in his manner and workmanship and we are thrilled with the results.  He was very fair in his pricing and the job came in considerably under estimate.  We would have no hesitation in referring him to friends and neighbors as he truly "delivers".  We have another project pending and he will definitely be our first contact when we are ready to proceed.  Thanks to Terry and to Angie's List for the recommendation! </em></strong> <br />"

"Kent Lorenzen, the owner of Elite Fencing, did an outstanding job.  An example of his professionalism that pleased me was his promptness in responding to my initial request for an estimate. He was willing to work with me in order to design the type of fence that I wanted.  He shared multiple examples via email with me and answered all my questions promptly.  I loved the design that I selected and was so pleased because I had other fence companies tell me it wouldn't work.  Once the design was determined the remaining process went smoothly with excellent communication. I always knew when they would be arriving and exactly what would be done. <br /> The only problem encountered was a delay on the delivery of materials which was not the fault of Elite Fencing; however, when the final bill arrived, he had given me a discount because of the delay.  The quality of the work was excellent, the gates installed are beautifully designed with quality hardware, the cleanup was thorough, and the total project was completed exactly as I wanted.  I am completely satisfied with the appearance of the fence and also with the courtesy displayed by his employees.  Professionalism, integrity, and pride are clearly evident in the work that he did for me. <br />"

"Great, on time, on budget"

"We hired American Fence Company because of the polite, professional and responsive service from the salesman. We had a tricky spot in our yard that I was concerned would be a challenge to fence, but the salesman came up with a solution of putting chain link in that area and patch the rest so the dogs couldn't get out. The salesman seemed very confident that there would be no issue. If that great customer service had continued, we would be recommending them to others. It, unfortunately, did not. We split the fence cost with our next door neighbor. We took turns with our neighbors calling the salesman to find out when work would start, how long it would take, and when we needed to have our existing fence removed. Calls back were inconsistent. We were told we were waiting on the fence to be shipped to them. The final word was that we needed to have our fence out on Wednesday July 15th for them to install the next day. Our neighbor got up early before work to rip out the existing fence before work in preparation for installation day. We have two large dogs and didn't want to be without a fence for long. We were assured the fence would be up on Thursday, with the exception of the gates, which wouldn't be in for another 2 weeks. Thursday came and by noon our neighbors came over to ask if we had heard what was going on. After multiple calls to the salesman, our neighbors found out they weren't coming. It was pushed to Monday, and no one let us know. On Monday, they were here for installation, and the posts went up. Then they left. One post was missing entirely. One post of way out of our property line, even though we had provided a property survey. One post was two feet away from the back property line, leaving a very large gap for doggie escapees. We called the salesman, who stated it was the responsibility of the man to put in the stakes. We eventually got in touch with him to come out and look. We were told that that post that left a large gap was because there was concrete under the ground where the post was supposed to go. the solution offered was to put another peice of unmatching fence in to patch. The post that was missing was just not ordered or here. The post that was out of our property line was staked that way, which I, fairly, didn't notice before the post was put in. The man who did the staking also stated that the fence wouldn't be up for another 2-3 weeks, and that no one told us that it would be up that day. Our neighbor was part of that conversation as well, and she too was told it would be completed, with the exception of the gates, that day. She was told the same incorrect information. The man from American Fence seemed indignant and annoyed during the conversation about our concerns. He said he didn't tell us it would be done, and the salesman wouldn't have said that either. We were making it up, I suppose. Everyone we spoke to had an excuse. They couldn't know when it would be here because the warehouse had to do it. The salesman didn't have anything to do with it anymore. The man who did the staking had no part on how the salesman sold the product. No one had the responsibility of making sure the fence posts could even be installed in the places specified on the estimate. The whole installation was a pain. We went with a higher cost option because we felt like we would be working with fencing pros who would have no trouble completing what we were requesting. We should have purchased the materials ourselves and hired a handyman. The completed product is very nice. It was done on August 10th. It looks great and feels sturdy. The one tricky spot was never actually patched. I piled some bricks in the gap, called it good and was very done dealing with the whole mess. I had no interest in calling someone back to my home that would just smile like we were idiots and make excuses. Beautiful fence. Bad experience. I won't be repeating it."

"He does great work. We are a charity and he gave us a great discount. He did a wonderful job, and he was here on time and he’s just really good. He put up a 6 feet high fence, gave us the best price, and did it on time when he said he would do it. The quality in their work really stood out and the fact that the fence was perfect that I asked for. We have rescue dogs nailed to the fence and it was imperative that this fence is escape proof. He nailed it to the ground and because of this the dogs are not getting out of here. I highly recommend Outback fencing and I would use them in the future."

"There were lots of delays before he showed up. He had another man install the I-beams, under his direction, though he wasn't there most of the time. So far so good, though I have doubts now about the quality of the work based on the other and quot;repairsand quot; he made here. We had a chimney sweep and mason finally come in and get the fireplace in working order, after waiting a couple of months for a special damper that turned out not to be needed as it wouldn't have solved the problem. The repairs to the porch and foundation turned out to be patches that have already failed. Never did check the roof for the spots that needed attention. <br />"

"Let me begin by saying that we are very happy with the services provided by Dave Spohr and his crew and staff. We had a serious water problem in our basement that needed to be rectified, without delay. A decade ago, Dave had completed a project for us at a different property and we were pleased with the outcome at that time. We called Dave and scheduled an appointment for consultation. He arrived on time and spent at least 2 hours with us, examining our basement, answering our questions and offering his opinion on the likely cause and solution to our problem. He suggested a particular test to provide a more definitive look at our infrastructure, and we appreciated the opportunity to gain more insight into what was actually occurring. A few days later, we received documents that set out Dave's findings and conclusions, his proposal to solve the issues, a cost estimate and a contract for our signature, if we wanted to proceed. We wanted to proceed and fast! Dave was responsive to our desire to begin the project at the earliest opportunity and so, a short time later, it was underway. From our perspective, it was a big project, involving removal of concrete, laying of drain-tile, creating an appropriate sump pump pit, and numerous other things that are needed to insure that water will drain away from your home, instead of flowing in and soaking your carpet! Throughout the project, Dave and his staff treated us with the utmost courtesy. Always, they worked with our schedules and with the attitude that our project was of paramount importance. Brittany and Aaron were especially nice to us, but beyond that, we liked each and every person that Dave sent to work in our home. This was significant because these individuals were in our basement for hours on end, amongst our personal things, and charged with the responsibility to fix our water issues.  For us, it was so important that this project succeed.  Dave and his crew completed our project on time, on budget and to our complete satisfaction. The spring rains have arrived, and our basement is dry.  With no reservations, we recommend Spohr's Landscaping Inc as a result of their excellent work on our behalf."
