"It turned out great. The carpet was good. It was just the third bedroom that I wasn't happy with. Overall, it was good for the price. It was okay. They completed the job in less than an hour. My daughter was there. The third bedroom's carpet was wet but the stains are still there. It was not permanent stain but it looked like the bedroom wasn't even touched."

"My tub looks new and perfectly matches the new bathroom tile. Who knew there were so may different shades of white for a tub?? This is a cost effective alternative to replacing a tub. My next project will be for them to do the shower pan in my master bathroom. I realize that the 'in' thing is to have elaborate mosaic tiles in the shower pan but I think that is trendy and creates a look of issues with grout. - Just a personal opinion. Bob was able to do the project on my time table which I really appreciate."

"I had Amanda & Eric paint my two bathrooms. My small one was painted a light yellow with white cabinets. The other a medium grey with black cabinets. They were fast, clean and professional. Impressive work."

"I bought a deal for $49 for a kitchen or bathroom design consultation but had them move forward with the kitchen and bathroom renovation.  They could've followed the schedule, and done a better job overall. We're still waiting for them to redo some work that was insufficient."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Union, NE

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
