"We purchased our house three years ago and I’ve been struggling to improve the lawn from day one. I know It’s time for an intervention, but I don’t want a ton of chemicals and I hate pushy salespeople (looking at you TG), so I procrastinated getting help. Enter Mark from American Lawn and Tree Specialist. He’s been responsive, informative, and a true pleasure to deal with while I navigate my options. It’s going to take time to get my lawn healthy, but I’m confident that this company is the one who will get it there. I’ve been so impressed, that I may just switch our landscaping contract over to this company as well."

"Eric and team did an excellent job of making a 20 year old red pavers walkway look new again. He landscaped the front of our house with beautiful river jack rocks and ensured symmetry with the red step to the front entrance. All requests were accommodated and the project was professionally managed and completed."

"Not only did Kyle respond very quickly, but he followed through from beginning to end. Leonard's Landscaping professionally and skillfully completed removing a large area of stubborn pachysandras from our back yard and patiently answered our many questions regarding other yard projects we anticipate. We were very happy with the pachysandra removal and leveling of our yard afterward. They worked efficiently and communicated with us during the entire process to ensure services were being met. Beautiful work Leonard's Landscaping! We would certainly use your services again."

"Guy and his crew were professional throughout and performed the job as expected.  We were concerned that the front posts would not look as good as the new railing but they did a nice job to refinish and paint them.  Everything looks great and we are pleased.

"I contacted Phillip via phone, we made an appointment and he met me at my house to give me an estimate. He was right on time. He called me prior to the day of scheduled work to make sure I was still ok with him coming the next day to work. On the day of, he showed up with his crew, performed the work as specified and cleaned everything up when he left. He was prompt and professional. The work done was exactly as promised and we made plans for him to do other work around my house and in the yard. His scope of services extend beyond landscaping although that seems to be his passion. I will definitely use him again.

"Bi weekly. Cuts grass The Pro did a good job and The customer appreciated it. They showed up every 2weeks and cut the grass the way he asked them. The grass is new and Josh used a walk behind lawns. He took time to do the grass and he liked it. He understood where he was coming from."

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Union Bridge, MD

A tree doctor or tree surgeon is another term for an arborist. The term is more common in places like the United Kingdom. They are professionals trained to plant, care for, maintain, diagnose, and remove trees of all kinds. Tree doctors have specialized knowledge to ensure the health and safety of trees.

Arborists are tree care specialists who plan, maintain, and enhance the health of trees with expert precision. They prune, diagnose diseases, treat pest infestations, remove hazardous limbs, and manage debris cleanup while developing comprehensive landscaping plans. They also handle tree planting and work with landscape professionals to ensure long-term tree vitality and safety.

Consulting arborists are tree experts who can advise homeowners and business owners on the right trees to plant, how to care for existing trees, and what to do about trees that appear to be sick or pose a safety threat. A consulting arborist may work with local landscape architects, investment property owners, city governments, developers, and other arborists.

An arborist may be able to save a dying tree. If you notice that your tree suddenly appears to be sick or is exhibiting unusual behavior, contact an arborist immediately. They will thoroughly inspect the tree to determine what might be wrong with it—and will let you know if it’s possible to save the tree and how to do it.

Verifying an arborist’s credentials is crucial for reliable tree care. Arborists must be licensed by their state and hold certifications from reputable organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Request proof of licensing and certification, and review local recommendations to ensure you are hiring a professional who meets high industry standards and adheres to strict safety protocols.
