"Originally contacted them to repair some water-damaged siding on some dormers that wouldn’t be covered by insurance. While scoping out that work, they noted hail damage to my roofing that they felt would easily qualify for an insurance claim. I filed a claim with my insurance for the roof, and they sent out a third-party appraisal company that is notorious for denying claims, and my claim was denied. Arcadia then brought out their own roofing people, documented the damage and refuted the “inadequate ventilation” claim of the third-party appraiser, filed the revised information with my insurer, and as a result my insurance approved the claim for a new roof on my house and out building. Arcadia’s workmen were thorough, efficient, and did a great job of cleaning up after themselves each day. I cannot say enough good things about Arcadia and would highly recommend them to any potential customers."

completed has been great. They did a good job of communicating with us along the way and letting us know what to expect.

The installation crew showed up on time and finished the entire job in one day. They kept things neat and did a good job of answering my 1,000 questions I had

"Tim and his crew showed up a few days after we agreed to the job and worked until nearly dark each day. They always cleaned up the driveway and surounding walkways each evening before leaving. We had not a single flat tire on the cars from nails or staples, which testifies to their detail in keeping things clean. The job took about 3 or 4 days inbetween inclement weather. Tim, the owner, actually worked on the roof also and each day when I'd come home from work, he would stop, climb down the ladder and come over to me and talk to me about the day's progress. Very helpful. I thoroughly checked the entire job when they finished and each and every thing we agreed on had been done. Overall a painless experience. "The replacement of the unit went great. Walker heating and air technicians showed up early with a new unit they picked up ready to work. They did a professional job on the unit installation and a great job of cleaning up. The installation took about 7 hours and they then explained how it worked, the warranty, and what maintenance would be needed. They answered all the questions I had and provided contact info should I have any problems. The ac works great and the family is glad. I would recommend Walker heating and air to everyone."

"They showed up (a little late).  Interesting that they didn't bring ladders, but since they didn't bring them when they cleaned the gutters, either, I wasn't surprised.  They had some light clips, but not enough.  Fortunately, I had plenty of my own, so the lights went up and stayed up.  (They hadn't used the kind of clips I had, and I hadn't used them before myself, but the lights stayed up even with the winds we've had.

I'll use them again, cause it certainly beats getting up on the roof myself to put the lights up.  I had set up a timer for the lights at the outlet I told them to use, but they didn't plug into the timer, just into the outlet. No biggie, I fixed it the next day."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
