"Trevor and his crew had come and scoped the job giving us an estimate. After we agreed they were chosen to the work, we were given a starting date. The crew showed up on time and worked for two and a half days to prepare the area for the patio extension and build a beautiful retaining wall for the area that set back into the hill. The stairs to the front door were replaced with newly constructed rebar and structural elements that will last for many more years than the original stair that only lasted 24 years. The new stairs now match the full width of the front porch which now looks much more symmetrical. The pad leading up to the stairs was enlarged and lengthened. They came back on the third day and the concrete was poured and finished. When they finished the work they made sure they cleaned up the job site and left everything as it was before. Trevor and his crew did an excellent job and we are so happy with how the job turned out and we highly recommend them for any work you may need completed."

"Brian came over after we had talked with several contractors about a concrete porch underside (in basement room) and one of those contractors made us think the concrete was in such a bad state of "imminent failure" that it needs a full replacement.So, while we continued to get quotes for a full replacement, we also asked a retired architect friend to give his opinion. He did not think concrete was so bad and he was glad we were having a structural engineer (Brian) coming over a few days later. Brian explained why he did not think the concrete was in need of full replacement (very expensive!) and also the damage was not a foundation/structure integrity issue (not "imminent failure"). We had spoken to several contractors and the cost to fully replace is upwards of 15-20 thousand dollars. From the state of the concrete, Brian did not believe the "symptoms" warranted a full replacement and that the more likely issue was simply that we never "sealed" the concrete with epoxy (and only painted the concrete porch). Given the sky-rocketing costs to do any home repairs, it seems more reasonable for us to do first level repair (not replace) that Brian suggests. Brian's honest and informative consultation (for free!!!) is piece of mind and a HUGE savings. We greatly appreciate Brian coming over to educate us - on his own dime. We will definitely ask Brian to come over again if/when we think we need an honest assessment of our home foundation needs."

"On March 7, 2016, Mike Isbir came to the house to discuss the work I wanted done. He had some great ideas, and was kind enough to break them down into "zones" of work, so that I could do the most important ones first, and do various other jobs as my finances allowed. I decided to get the front steps replaced with concrete, two sections of the sidewalk repaired, and a bit of landscaping done on the side of the house. It took awhile to get the job started because the weather was so changeable this Spring. But they were finally able to start on May 25. The job was finished by May 27. Everything went smoothly. Mike's workers were friendly and professional - a real pleasure to deal with. I have been getting good comments about my front steps. The mail lady, especially appreciates the fine work Isbir Construction has done. I look forward to getting the other jobs on my list done. I can highly recommend Mike and his people"

"The owner contacted me 40 minutes after posting. He arrived at my house 2 hours later. He measured the project and quoted me a price two ways, asphalt and concrete. The upgrade for concrete was reasonable, so that's what we went for. A few days later, we signed the contract with 1/3 down-payment. The crew arrived a few days later and demolition began. All work was completed within a reasonable time with only one rain day. We paid an additional 1/3 half way through and the final payment on the last day. Overall, we are pleased with the outcome. We do have two low spots that are holding rainwater. This won't be an issue once we build the carport. The owner gets an A for excellent and honest communication. The crew gets a B... a few no-shows, cellphone use and footprints on fresh concrete. Ours was a huge, complex and challenging concrete job. Peyton was able to pull it off and give us what we asked for!"

They completely dismantled the old wall and built a new one to replace it. For the second job, they completed a new drainage system down my walkway which now redirects the water which was running down when there was extensive rain. Mr. Johnson and his crew fixed my chimney by creating a new cap on the structure. Finally, the crew smoothed out a large crack in my patio and applied it to resurface to even out the patio. When I first contacted Tom Johnson he displayed professionalism as we worked through a bid on the job. The price was reasonable and the timeline for completion of the project was fair. At all times all of the employees of the company were polite and answered my questions and reassured me along the way. "<p>Mr. Taylor did a wonderful job replacing our back deck.  He is professional, easy to work with, and a very hard worker!  We are very pleased with the end result and have had many compliments on our deck from friends and family.  <br /> The work consisted of removing the entire deck down to the supports which were still in great shape. The handrails and deck were all replaced as well as metal and gutters put underneath the deck for protection from weather when we are sitting on our patio below.  After the deck was complete, they replaced a sliding glass door onto our deck.  The door we purchased was smaller than the opening, so Mr. Taylor had frame in the door and insulate it.  We couldnt be more pleased with how he made it work.<br /> </p> Each day Mr. Taylor cleaned up the area and contained the building materials to one section of our yard.  We really liked this aspect of the work done because they took time to ensure things were neat before they left each day. <br />"
