Then he says he never said things he definitely did. The contract says to reframe my deck and he will say things like Reframe does not mean reframe. We got ripped off. Not worth the money. Now a lot of money later, we have to hire someone else to complete the job. You will get scammed."

"Alamo Kitchen & Bath is run by Dorin Regus assisted by his son Cornelius. They did all the work except cutting and installing countertop. Work was high quality, excellent attention to detail, showed up on time, kept us informed, cleaned up after themselves daily. Dorin is extremely knowledgeable about current trends & shared his knowledge & advice with us to help us make decisions. Dorin is also quite versatile: & demonstrated skills in safely removing popcorn ceiling, installing new insulation and lighting compliant with current codes, removing old flooring & installing floor tile, removing wallpaper, prepping & texturing walls & painting, installing tile backsplash with accent grout, removing old countertops & cabinets & installing new Shaker cabinets, sink & faucet. He also replaced two old, broken windows with high quality new ones & expertly changed window placement from bay windows to straight, incl. repair of previous damage from foundation repair. Outstanding work all around."

"Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend Genie. In fact I would warn anyone considering Genie to be very careful about the cost of the contract."
