"Mike and his company did an excellent job on first my driveway and second my outdoor patio. We had numerous quotes on both projects and Mike came in slightly under on one and on par with the others, but his workmanship, attention to detail and professionalism made this a great experience from start to finish. We had be recommended by neighbors who were very happy with his work and we couldn't agree more! Five stars !"

"After moving into a new house, we decided we wanted to replace the outdated patio space outback. We reached out to Naulty and they were able to provide us with a 3-D design, so we could fully understand exactly what we were getting prior to the installation. Our patio came out even more beautiful in person than we imagined. I recommend them to anyone looking for a new patio."

"Superb! Chris is a craftsman who truly cares about the quality of his work. He is detail oriented and the finished product looks great. He is a clear communicator and kept me informed every step of the way. The only delays in completion we’re unavoidable and due to the weather. Chris does all the work himself and is amazingly efficient. He cleaned up each evening after finishing for the day. The projects (stucco + pavers) took a total of nine days. I would absolutely hire Chris again!"

"Barb, Ira, and the crew are the hardest working people I have ever had at my house! They are prompt and do an amazing job- installing new plants, removing old plants, and weeding. I feel very proud of my yard now . Barb and Ira are also very very knowledgeable about trees and plants. They gave me very good directions on what to keep and what I could afford to get rid of. Their prices are a little high, but , I think, fair for the quality of work they do. I have recommended them to friends. And I will continue to do so."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Upper Darby, PA

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
