"They were awesome. I had an oddball sized garage door and they were able to locate and install a new one, add a lift motor, replace all of the channeling and add an outside entry keypad. Now I'm able to park the cars inside once again. <br />"

"At first, I was very disappointed with the result. The boards were crooked, the fence was not plumb, and the concrete that was placed in the holes to support the posts was a total mess. Howver, I contacted Mr. Crossland in the Corpus office. This is one man that GETS it! He listened. He didnt make excuses. He simply handled it. Keep in mind, I was angry and highly skeptical. I have dealt with one bad contractor after another & was prepared for yet another let down. Mr. Crossland maintained open communication, he let me vent and frankly, I said some very harsh, albeit truthful, things. A week later i had the beautiful fence I paid for! They replaced the warped boards, fixed the concrete mess & even added a railing "cap" along the top for no additional cost. It looks awesome! There are SOO many companies out there that could learn alot from D&C fence's commitment to customer service! I gave them a B because the first 6 months were so stressful and it took a few times before Mr Crossland stepped in. But the bottom line is this is a professional company that actually cares about customers!"

"Scott Ballard was very pleasant to work with. He came to a property I had just purchased to measure and quote a chain link fence I wanted installed for dog enclosure. The fence measured approximately 450 feet. I wanted three gates. Not only did Scott make very accurate notes about my needs, he also let me know that some of what was quoted by another fence company was not necessary. The other company quoted gate sizes that were larger and more expensive than I needed. I appreciate the protection from spending more than I needed to. <br /> <br />The crew came a few days after I accepted the quote. The crew worked hard and carefully and accurately. They made sure everything was the way I wanted it and to my expectations. I was given several opportunities to ask questions or clarification. <br /> <br />The fence and gates are perfect and fit the needs of me and my large dogs perfectly. I recommend T-Bar Fence for your fencing needs. <br />"

"The people I worked with were fantastic. They were very polite and very efficient. They got the job done. Somehow one of the doors came in from the factory with a ding in it. They replaced it right away and within a week the other one was ordered and back at my house. They were fantastic and the experience was excellent. The quality of the work was fantastic. The price was comparable pretty much to everyone else in town. I might have been able to get it for a couple of hundred dollars less, but it was fine."

"Three small ocotillos ($195) were refused as being greatly over-priced -- they were so very small that there was no need to pay anyone to plant them -- they could be done with a hand trowel. Two little apricot trees ($290) were also refused as being overpriced, and with careless bark damage. <br /> I had hoped to do a much larger project: trellises with grapes, raised garden, additional shrubs, along with some removal of dead material after the cold winter, etc. His verbal estimates of some of the work were so high, that I found other people to do it, did it myself, or postponed it. He was not eager to please the customer. I was prepared to spend a substantial sum if I had found a responsive and knowledgeable provider. I was disappointed. <br /> Mr. Korody may have been too busy to pay much attention to my project, I don't know. He seemed very professional when he first came to talk, but didn't follow through well. He seemed to have little knowledge of horticulture, and little feel for plant materials. His promotional photos featured hardscaping, but we didn't get that far in my project, so I can't speak to his skills in that area. <br /> If we had had a productive working relationship, cost alone would not have deterred me from continuing with him. I felt he was unresponsive, perhaps even dismissive, and I was concerned about his lack of interest and knowledge regarding plant materials. If he hasn't completed the Master Gardener program, I would recommend it to him. I hesitated to do this review for some time, but I think it only fair to others to get it done.I'd like to put in a good word for the two young men who were actually doing the work. They were hard-working, pleasant, and concerned with doing a good job."
