"As a kitchen designer, I asked Hire My Husband to do the work of installing some miscellaneous pantry pull-outs and roll-out shelves that a client wanted to improve the efficiency and storage access in her kitchen. Not only did Dawson, the owner, go out to measure and assess the work to provide a quote, but when we collectively realized we had a few more questions, she met me at the job site again (which was a decent drive) and we clarified what was needed. I appreciated that this ensured we were on the same page and the client was pleased with our collaboration. Once the cabinet parts arrived, Dawson received the items in her truck and her team later delivered them on the day of installation. I visited the site that day and saw how her team had protected the floor around the work areas in question and were doing a great job. They were pleasant-mannered and knew what they were doing. We hadn't seen the dishwasher line that was in the way of a new roll-out shelf but her team easily remedied that situation on the spot. There was a unique cabinet door hinge challenge that meant the team needed to replace the hinges with less obtrusive ones and that was all executed without issue.
