"They did an excellent job for a very fair price.  They sanded and caulked the siding, and replaced any boards that had deteriorated. They spray painted the siding, hand painted the trim and did a good job of cleaning the area before they left.  Tom Bennett and his crew are very easy to work with and very reliable. <br />"

"Ed with The Best Home Guys did an excellent and professional job and was always courteous to work with and making sure that all work was cleaned up and vacuumed everyday work was performed. Upon removal of patio door, he discovered extensive termite damage and did a superb job of removing damage and replacing all support and siding that was necessary. I am very happy with his work with installing cabinets and flooring."

"They arrived at the scheduled time and we spent about an hour or so talking about the areas to be painted and color choices and or last minute changes.  They were very helpful when it came to us choosing the colors for our Main Restroom.  Overall they were Professional, Courteous, Respectful of our Home,  Personable and very understanding and flexible.  Lastly,  very Skilled painters, and we plan on asking them to come back and paint our Bedrooms and the lower level of our home.                   Painting By Victor in my opinion is definitely a phone number to add to your Cell phones contact #'s."

"We had used this company a few years ago to replace our Anderson windows.  We were so impressed with them at that time that I knew we would be using them again. When our door was kicked in during a burglary, we called All Seasons for help.  They came out that day and we picked out a door, got it ordered, and they had one of their carpenters come late in the day and secure our home.  That was going above and beyond!  <br /> We have a 57 year old home and like to keep the trim all consistent if at all possible when we have work done.  With the windows and with the front door, they took the extra time and effort to make sure that happened - even though putting on new would have been faster and easier. <br /> We may be paying a few extra dollars using this company, I don't know.  But their professionalism and caring attitude almost make me not care about getting other estimates!  That's unusual for us! <br />"

"Mark installed 6  cabinets in my kitchen, installation of baseboard and trim pieces, installation of linoleum counter top, installation of crown molding. He came within 1 week of when I first contacted him, and was very professional and timely with his work.  Part of my kitchen wall was uneven, so Mike did a great job explaining the options to me, and adjusting the crown molding so that you don't see the difference. He got the job done in one afternoon, and also gave me tips throughout the entire process regarding how to purchase the materials I needed, and how to stain one part of crown molding.  He offered his availability for further questions after the job was done as well.  I highly recommend Mark, and would use him again for any cabinet needs. <br />"

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Valley Center, KS

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
