After having several issues with it bubbling up and caving in over the last several months, I ripped up a baseboard and noticed there was absolutely no room for expansion left between the floor and the wall - it butted right up against the wall very firmly. The same was done around the fireplace but I assumed they'd just forgotten about it there since the installer did pencil a line on the board to cut around the fireplace...but didn't cut it. I'll have to rip up all the baseboards and cut the floor around the wall so it can expand and contract like a wood floor does. Very disappointed that I'll have to replace a couple boards because of this, cut the boards, and redo baseboards."

"We ordered over $20,000 in windows, doors, and interior trim from wilke. Things went well until the person that we ordered everything from abruptly was no longer there. We were assigned another salesperson who seemed disinterested in seeing the project through. All three of the sliding doors wilke sent out had issues. I first informed wilke of the issues 08/07/17. They came out a few months later and fixed two of the three doors. I called them and told them that they forgot to fix the sliding door in our master bedroom and that the door in our living room had broken again. They sent someone out a second time (a few months later) but it was with the wrong parts. It is now 02/23/18 and they still have not fixed the two doors that have been broken for over 6 months. They blame the delay on not being able to get the parts but in reality, they did not even order the correct parts until we escalated the issue to upper management. We are now waiting for the parts to come in and wilke to hopefully fix the sliding doors. But they are estimating that to be in March. I went with wilke because of their claim of customer service. I will never go back again and I hope anyone reading this does their homework."
