"First let me say I had a great experience with this company 5-6 years ago. They did a lot of work. The craftsmanship was excellent, workers skilled & easy to be around. The person/owner who designed & oversaw the project was Mitica - professional & good to work with. Because of the good experience with Creative D & F, I called to have them remove & replace the fence. Mitica told me his brother Constantin, handled the fence work. We discussed what I wanted & work began w/in a few weeks; this time was a completely difference experience. Not professional or particularly skilled & not easy to be around. A few months after the work was completed I noticed the wood portion of the fence was shoddy & very flimsy. Within 6 months one of the upright boards came loose & was hanging. They used 5/8" upright boards on a 6' fence, which now seems to be a cost cutting measure. Within 6 months one of the boards was hanging. What a huge disappointment. I have hired someone else to repair & stabilize the flimsy fence and build & install the rest of the fence."

I value all of my customers & follow all of my projects from start to completion to ensure rigid quality standards, I believe in doing things right the first time. I generally handle projects on my own, sometimes with a helper. When I have a larger project, I have a solid network of contractors that I sub-contract with. I generally request approximately 50% down payment on most jobs for new customers, but that can vary depending on project scope, materials, etc.., remainder + tax due upon completion. At this point I accept cash or check. I estimate projects, or charge time & materials. I value communication with my customers to ensure everyone's needs are being met & we're all on the same page. I have a $200 minimum charge which covers the first 2 hours on your job, then it's $50/hr from there on. The minimum charge ensures overhead is met on any job. Crawl space & attic work incur extra charges. Welding & metal fab is billed at a higher rate, depending on the project. I guarantee all of my work & proudly stand behind my ethics & performance. You can always find someone cheaper, but why pay for something twice? Get it done by a qualified person, done right the first time.

FAQs for swimming pool remodeling projects in Vancouver, WA

You can modernize your pool by adding features like underwater LED lighting, mosaic tiles, or a beach entry for easy access. Incorporating amenities like fire pits, waterfalls, or installing energy-efficient equipment can also give your pool a contemporary upgrade.

To make your pool more energy-efficient, consider resurfacing it with a lighter color to reduce heating needs and evaporation. Installing a variable-speed pump can significantly lower energy consumption. Switching to low-energy LED lights not only saves power but also enhances ambiance. Additionally, updating old plumbing pipes can improve efficiency and reduce water loss.

A pool remodel typically takes between four and eight weeks to complete. The exact duration depends on factors such as the size of your pool, the complexity of the renovations, and the availability of materials and contractors. Planning ahead and coordinating with a professional pool remodeler can help ensure your project stays on schedule.

Remodeling your pool can be a worthwhile investment, especially if you plan to sell your home. A pool remodel can increase your property's value and enhance its appeal to potential buyers. Upgrades like modern finishes, energy-efficient systems, and added features like lighting or fountains can transform an outdated pool into a backyard oasis.

Resurfacing a pool involves applying a new finish to the existing surface to address cosmetic issues and minor structural concerns. Replastering is a more extensive process that replaces a deeper layer of the pool's structural base, impacting both stability and appearance. After replastering, you can choose from various finishes to enhance the design and longevity of your pool.
