"We live in a daylight basement of a 3 story home we share with family members. We had a ceiling leak and didn't know whether to call a plumber or hvac professional. On advice from a friend, I went with a plumber who we found through Home Advisor - Platinum Plumbing. They came the next day, lifted the ceiling tile to determine the location of the water leak. They determined it wasn't a plumbing leak, but an hvac leak. They informed me that the original contractor had never sealed the hvac pipe coming from the stove exhaust fan vent from the floor above. They said that condensation from that vent was the reason for the water leakage. Though it wasn't technically a plumbing problem, they offered to seal the hvac pipe with a sealant preventing future condensation leaks. They charged me $140 which was the hvac fee which was lower than a plumbing fee. I am pleased! They gave me names of 2 local hvac repair companies if we needed. For future plumbing issues, we will not hesitate to call Platinum Plumbing again. We have learned to trust the professionals we have used from Home Advisor. Home Advisor is our "go-to" resource now."

"Jason and Henry crawled  through a very unpleasant 3' space between our first and second floor to find out that there was a double ptrap install and the vent line just venting into open space. They corrected the plumbing, installed a studer cap and brought everything upto code (fixing the bad smell) problem.

I really appreciate there willingness to belly craw into a tight space to solve the problem without having to cut a hole in the celling.

"Garret was referred to me by my brother in law who is a plumber. Garret worked on. Two of my rentals. Repairing a leak and replacing a kitchen faucet at one house and and at the second he replaced a hot water tank. The hot water tank had been leaking for awhile and Garret recommended that the floor be replaced(it was pressed partial board that had been softened by the leaking tank). He brought everything “up to code” so I know going forward that this. Project is completed. The work was done quickly and I paid a fair price for the work. I will be calling Garret in the near future to replace a few more Hot water tanks BEFORE. They damage the floor!"

"We happened to discover a small leak on our water main pipe and called Vlad out. He came out the next day and gave us a quote and didn't happen to have the parts on hand (we have an OLD house), but said he'd get back to us as soon as he could, even though he was fully booked for the week. He came back the next day and worked through lunch (thank you Vlad!) to get it done. And thank goodness -- the pipe actually split apart in his hands. "They provided me with information about repair of three 23 year old builder grade toilets vs replacing them. Gave me price options for toilets that would meet our needs, arranged for removal and installation within a couple days. They were here on time and within 1 1/2 hours had removed all 3, cleaned where the old toilets had been, hauled them away and had installed and caulked all 3 and were in their way. Their plumbers were respectful, friendly and professional and did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them for future plumbing needs."
