I recently left the union as a journeyman carpenter and superintendent. I built custom homes in my 20’s after graduating from college with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Before college I worked in all phases of construction from concrete and framing to finish work. I have a well rounded understanding of building and am passionate about what I do and the quality of work I provide. In my personal life I am led by Jesus. "I know from years of hiring Rod to do any kind of job you can imagine around the house: custom door installations, window treatments, shelves, painting, molding, etc. that he would remodel my bathroom and install new flooring in my bedroom with expertise and for a fair price. I learned something about floor installation having hired someone else lay floors in one of my other bathrooms (Rod was unavailable at the time)--all the things that can go wrong! The guy's workmanship was shoddy. Not only did he cause my floors to buckle, he left the floor threshold incomplete--something that Rod pointed out to me. What a world of difference when Rod installed wood floors in my bathroom and bedroom. The floors lay perfectly flat and the wood planks were chosen carefully so that the pattern of the wood grain looks aesthetically pleasing. After 13 years working for a log home company I am now doing my own drafting & design work. 20 years experience drawing homes, garages carports etc. etc.\nI do standard framed homes & log homes. I have done around 200 structures and have several engineers I work with. I just moved to Oregon from California. Also I have done several structures in Northern and eastern & cost near coos bay Oregon while working for the log home company. I am looking forward to growing my business in Oregon after leaving Cal because of the Campfire.
