"Rick Bonds and his crew were excellent. Rick made suggestions for a landscape design but listened to our requests and implemented exactly what we wanted. He brought plenty of help and the entire crew was friendly and worked very hard. They had all the right equipment needed to tear out our old landscaping and take it away. Rick is very kind and patient and very knowledgeable and willing to share as much information as we asked for about the plants. Scapes Management is a wonderful company to work with and we highly recommend them."

"Grant and his crew did a fantastic job. They showed up when they said they would, did the job just as described and hauled away all the debris. They removed a large bed of juniper without disturbing or harming our lawn in any way. I will definitely be using C&W in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking for that line of work."

"It went well. The only problem is that we asked for a path from the parking pad to the back porch. The workers declined to do it. It was a verbal agreement with the owner but was not put in the contract. After the workers declined to make the path the owner and I had agreed upon, I called the owner. Fortunately, the owner remembered the conversation and told the workers to do it. The workers did a fine job, and we are happy with the job. The price was expensive, but it looks nice, and we would hire PennyEarned again."

"They did a FANTASTIC JOB!!! Very professional, the quality of the work is second to none. They took their time and were meticulous every step of the way. They cleaned up the area spotless when they were done. Rusty called us after 2 days and made sure we were 100% satisfied and set an appointment to come back, so HE could look the job over and address any concerns we have, or if any part of the job was not to their standards, they would replace it at no charge to us.Their big concern was that we were 100% satisfied. I would recommend CURB IT to everyone, they are a 1st class company."

"5 stars is not enough for Carson and his company! 4 of my neighbors moved on a steep bluff overlooking the lake, but we couldn’t see the lake through the trees and overgrown brush. Carson worked with all the neighbors to make sure everyone was happy with the scope of the project. He and his workers were professional and extremely knowledgeable about irrigation, erosion, the major equipment needed and how to drop the gigantic trees on a dime!! They pay attention to detail and left the job immaculately clean! I can’t say enough great things about this company! Great communication and they exceeded our expectations by working earlier and later every day of the project. Outstanding 5 star company from start to finish!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Verbena, AL

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
