"It was awesome. Jeff came out the day after I called him, climbed on my roof, and had an estimate to me later that day. His estimate was higher than some I received but still very fair (and definitely not the highest I got from companies in the area). We took a week to finish gathering bids and get the 50% downpayment together and called to make an appointment. Jeff and his guys came out and got the work done completely within a week. They were professional, timely, and clean every time they came. They were courteous and kept me up to date at the end of each workday showing me what had been done and what ended up costing extra money as per our plan when Jeff first came to give me an estimate and was upfront about some unknowns with the roof that were not included in the original proposal. It was nice to have a group of people come and work together to get the job done safely, efficiently, and for as little above estimate as they could. Our roof looks great and appears to be good to go for 3 decades now. We know that if we have any problems this is the kind of service provider you can call and get in touch with the same day-- no concerns about call backs. He's upfront and does business on a handshake. A few years ago another "reputable" company came out to do work on our house and the work was overpriced and not done well. We worried we would have trouble finding an honest roofer but this is the guy we will call if we ever have another situation with our roof. Highly recommend you call him for an estimate if you've had any trouble with other service professionals in the past- he will make it better. Note- In addition to a full roof replacement we had several squares of decking replaced and several layers of shingles and decking to be disposed of as part of the replacement and went with a high quality architectural shingle"

He communicated to me in advance if there was any change in schedule and everything went as we discussed before. "Not sure how to rate this. I left a message via Angie's List and never heard back. I'm not sure if the message process on this website is something the contractor actually uses, or prefers, or if it is set up independently for them by Angie's List. This is not the only time I have left a message and not gotten a response. Ordinarily I would rate the lack of response as an "F". I will call this a "C" since I don't really know where the fault lies."

He came, said he could do it, and just asked that I cut  a trail with my snowblower from the back hatch to the front driveway (which I gladly did).
