"John came out to provide an estimate.  We had water standing in the garage during the winter.  John did a thorough job of finding the likely source of the issue (apron was higher than garage floor due to shifting).  I had indicated water buildup in the front corner of the garage (where the foundation was failing).  John did a thorough job of finding the low point in the garage using a 6-foot level.  This showed me that the corner of the garage floor was not the low point and did not need modification.  We had discussed where the expansion joints would be in front of the 2-car part of the garage, but I did not remember the discussion of expansion joints in front of the 1-car stall.  John was kind enough to come out a second time to ensure my happiness with the location of those joints. <br> <br>John and his crew did the job about 3 weeks later.  I saw how cleanly the pour locations were prepped with plastic around to prevent concrete from going where it shouldn't, rebar located appropriately, and a level looking base.  After the pour was complete, they continued to be careful in sighting the expansion joints from a distance to ensure an even looking split.  The results were clean and professional, not to mention correct in terms of slope/level relative to the garage floor and to the asphalt driveway. <br> <br>The site was beautifully clean when they left with soil returned to its origin around the foundation and nothing left for me to clean up except for the tape/ribbon that reminded me not to drive on the apron before curing was complete. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>"

"We hired Md Concrete to do our front walkway and back patio. Right from the get-go they were wonderful communicators. Other concrete companies I'd contacted either didn't return my calls, said they would show up for a consultation and then were no-shows, or didn't respond for over a month. Md Concrete called me back the same day I contacted them. They came out to give a consultation quickly and got back to us with a quote within a few days. During our deck building they came out to help consult with the deck builder on where the stairs should end so they could get their concrete in the correct spot. They kept us up to date on when they would be out to prep the areas, when they would be here to pour, and what to do afterwards to ensure the poured concrete stayed nice. We were very happy with their company, their work, and especially their communication skills. We highly recommend them and will use them again if we ever have any concrete needs."
