Get matched with top sod installers in Vermillion, MN

"The project was done quickly and with excellent results"

"We hired Josh Clark's Landscaping to do a small project in our back yard. They removed an area of bad sod, installed a two foot border of River Rock around the patio, added black dirt and resodded the area. He sent out a hard working group of young men to complete the project. They did great work with attention to detail. The crew leader was very organized and kept everything on track. They completed an impressive job and area clean up when they finished. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for help with any level of landscaping project."

"Jessica and her team completed our project in 1.5 days which is what she initially said it would be. They worked extremely hard morning until late afternoon. Clean up was terrific! You couldn’t even tell someone had worked on our driveway. We enjoyed the bees and butterflies visiting our new plants/shrubs all summer! Many thanks to Jessica and her team at Better Yards and Gardens!"

"Brian was prompt and courteous when responding to our quote request. This was a large project ($13k was quoted). All said and done, however, we were invoiced for 30% more in cost overrun. We did work with Brian to come to an agreement on a final amount, however we found in a couple weeks that the workers had not installed landscaping fabric in several places where they had been instructed (and we had already paid final invoice). Brian sent out a crew to remedy within days. This would have been a 3-star review had Brian not worked with us to rectify concerns and remedy faulty work."

"Kesti Oudoor Services did a great job start to finish with replacing sod in a damaged area of our lawn!!"

"John was very helpful in planning our paver patio and fire pit. The crew was great. Very prompt, professional and courteous!"

"Dalton was professional in every sense. He followed the timeliness he laid out. We could not be more happy with the work that was complete. We are already talking to him about other projects we have. Thanks Dalton fo4 everything. ( My photo exceeds the upload size otherwise I would add a pic of the great work)"

"If you are looking for paver patios, the installers are great. They did a very nice job, and were professional throughout. They would clean up every day before leaving, addressed any questions we had timely and we are very satisfied with the results. We also added a gazebo to our patio design. It was very clear that gazebo's are not one of their strengths. We encountered many issues with the design and build of the gazebo long before construction began. We had hired Josh in October to complete all elements of the landscaping project the following spring. Over the winter months, we had asked on many occasions for catalog photos, or anything that would confirm what the finished gazebo was going to look like. The pictures were never sent and the only indication of what it might look like came just a few days before the project began and was a very small (1x1) black and white picture. Our expectation of the gazebo was that the material used would be cedar. We had asked for glass windows that could be closed during the cooler and winter months. We were assured on many occasions that cedar material and glass windows were what we were going to get. As they were starting to build the gazebo, the material was not cedar, rather it was pressed wood. As the windows were installed, they were not glass (despite being told that very day they were glass), instead they were a plastic film over the screens. We were left in a very difficult position where we were essentially forced to concede on both elements. While the gazebo is functional, and will suit our needs, had Josh sent just ONE picture sometime in the 5 months or so prior the project start, we may have been able to make a different decision. Related, and something else to be aware of. When trying to reach Josh about start dates, etc I would say he was not always as responsive as I would have expected. Furthermore, there were multiple instances where what was promised was not delivered. Again, if you are looking at a paver or patio project - these guys are great and I would recommend their workmanship. However beware of anything more than that."

"Garrett and his team did a great job with our landscaping. Garrett was knowledgeable, extremely responsive and made insightful suggestions. Rarely have we worked with someone so dedicated and conscientious. It was a pleasure!"
