"<p>As part of a larger remodel and repair operation, our contractor installed a new front door purchased from Home Depot. The install was not properly aligned and would not close or seal properly. The contractor did a great job in other areas such as framing, siding, deck building etc., but properly installing and aligning a door is a special skill that not everyone has. It is hard to find a real door hanger but after a search we found Tom. He was able to take apart and reinstall the sash and door and we now have a beautifully operating and sealed front door. "They did a quality job but their communication skills need a little work. They didn't tell me they were going to start the job until the day before they were going to start the job, which was a hassle because I had some bush trimming to do before they started. Also, they apply a little paint so you can decide whether you like it or not (which I liked), but was given very little time to view and decide. I don't know, it seemed kind of chaotic compared to experiences I've had with other contractors."
