"The overall experience was great, and the repair only took 24 hours (even with my request to replace the mogul socket - not a standard part). <br /> I did have some initial difficulty making contact (playing phone tag); they seem to be operating mostly by appointment rather than daily storefront hours. But once that was figured-out, everything else happened at my convenience. <br />"

"Excellent customer service on front end - was able to schedule work just four days ahead. Office staff was friendly and prompt returning calls. Electrician called to say he was running ahead of schedule (when does that happen???) and arrived about an hour early. Work performed quickly and below estimated cost - and was done before the originally scheduled time. <br />"

"It went well. I was not happy with the insistence of using their web site for payment. I like to pay through my credit union's online bill payment service. The fellow wanted the money right away and it takes two days for the credit union to get the money to them. I did pay with a check the first day when I was home when they were there. On the second day I was at work so I asked him to email me a bill and I would pay it, which I did. Overall it went well. <br />"

"Mike showed up on time. Quickly repaired some flooring so a new furnace could be installed. He repaired drywall, After the emergency repairs, he came back and repaired the extensive damage to interior including refinishing wood floors. He also noticed a couple of other repairs that needed to be done. He went above and beyond by helping move some furniture, which he ceertainly didn't need to do."

"I met Bob when he moved into a warehouse next to ours. When I talked to him; I got a good feel for his ambition with his company. However I didn?t have any idea of the quality Bob could perform. Recently our company ?All Service Moving? needed new signs. I had gotten bids before, but never Bobs. I looked up Bobs card and sent him an email. He quickly sent on back and asked what I was looking for. He took some of my artwork and made a PDF. It looked good, but I wasn?t sure he could pull it off. The price looked too low for such good quality. $100 ? first sign and $80 each one after. Well he did pull it off. It looked even better than the PDF. His price was extremely competitive and the quality was amazing. I?m impressed! Bob will be contracted to do all the artwork for our box trucks and anything else we need. If you need signs, Bobs your guy!"

"David came to give us an estimate the same day we called him. He was friendly, courteous, confident and he gave us an estimate we could live with so we arranged for him to do the work the following week. David was on time with the rented electric sander and his tools needed to complete the projects. He ran into some problems with the rented sander not working properly, and went to discuss it with the rental place. David very fairly deducted the time he was off of the job from his final bill. His final bill was approx $30 more than his estimate, which was due to additional materials needed to complete the work. Overall, we are very happy with the services received for the price we paid. :~)"

FAQs for swimming pool remodeling projects in Vernonia, OR

You can modernize your pool by adding features like underwater LED lighting, mosaic tiles, or a beach entry for easy access. Incorporating amenities like fire pits, waterfalls, or installing energy-efficient equipment can also give your pool a contemporary upgrade.

To make your pool more energy-efficient, consider resurfacing it with a lighter color to reduce heating needs and evaporation. Installing a variable-speed pump can significantly lower energy consumption. Switching to low-energy LED lights not only saves power but also enhances ambiance. Additionally, updating old plumbing pipes can improve efficiency and reduce water loss.

A pool remodel typically takes between four and eight weeks to complete. The exact duration depends on factors such as the size of your pool, the complexity of the renovations, and the availability of materials and contractors. Planning ahead and coordinating with a professional pool remodeler can help ensure your project stays on schedule.

Remodeling your pool can be a worthwhile investment, especially if you plan to sell your home. A pool remodel can increase your property's value and enhance its appeal to potential buyers. Upgrades like modern finishes, energy-efficient systems, and added features like lighting or fountains can transform an outdated pool into a backyard oasis.

Resurfacing a pool involves applying a new finish to the existing surface to address cosmetic issues and minor structural concerns. Replastering is a more extensive process that replaces a deeper layer of the pool's structural base, impacting both stability and appearance. After replastering, you can choose from various finishes to enhance the design and longevity of your pool.
